Question from Lordofwikip (04:37, 15 June 2026)

Hello mentor, Is pdf (inside the official website) a valid source of citation? --Lordofwikip (talk) 04:37, 15 June 2026 (UTC)

:Hello! This will depend on what topic and specific reference you want to include as well as the content of the PDF. Reliable sources can be in PDF format. If you're citing a report, for example, in PDF format, that's perfectly fine. Wikipedia prefers secondary sources, so if you have the official website for a specific topic, it is preferred that you go to an independent source. Question from DaleBirk (05:12, 25 June 2026)

How do I get back an article that has been deleted by another user who wrongly thought the article was written by an AI chatbot? --DaleBirk (talk) 05:12, 25 June 2026 (UTC)

:Hello, you might want to discuss this with the editor who made the decision to remove it (Note that there are different processes for getting entire pages that were deleted back versus a single edit or parts of a page). There may be other reasons that the content was removed, so you should address these concerns before trying to reinstate the content (for example if the tone does not fit Wikipedia's guidelines, the sources are not reliable secondary sources, or if another policy is involved). Thanks to edit histories, most changes can be restored if you can get consensus about whether the content should be up. Me, Myself & I (☮) (talk) 05:32, 29 June 2026 (UTC)

Question from LBAppian (16:14, 30 June 2026)

Hello. I would like to update the recognition section as per your recommendation. Do you recommend I go through the talk tab, or do a direct edit? --LBAppian (talk) 16:14, 30 June 2026 (UTC)

:I would recommend going through the Talk tab as usual and then proceeding from there. Me, Myself & I (☮) (talk) 20:39, 4 July 2026 (UTC)

Question from Vincent Bush (00:29, 3 July 2026)

so i edited the 2006 FIFA World Cup, in Discipline. I added this "The 2006 tournament holds the record for the most red cards in a single FIFA World Cup, with a total of 28 red cards issued. [1]" With a citation and Links, to red card, and FIFA World Cup. Will this edit stay? --Vincent Bush (talk) 00:29, 3 July 2026 (UTC)

:Given the nature of Wikipedia as a work in progress, I can't make any specific guarantees, but if you have a reliable reference and relevant information, this will lower the likelihood of someone removing it. I do notice that there is a section on unprecedented number of cards so someone might want to consolidate the information. Me, Myself & I (☮) (talk) 20:38, 4 July 2026 (UTC)
