Welcome, with a suggestion
Welcome to Wikipedia. Here are suggested readings: WP:SECONDARY ↗ and WP:TERTIARY ↗. The gist of these guidelines is:
- Wikipedia prefers citations to reviews and books, ''not'' primary journal references (tens of thousands appear annually). Citing secondary sources is the encyclopedic style. My guess, Org Lett, just one of many specialized organic journals, publishes 500-1000 article per year. It is impossible for Wikipedia to cite them equitably, so we refrain, but strive to take the extra step of identifying reviews. If you have questions, many editors can offer advice. Happy editing.--Smokefoot (talk) 19:00, 16 January 2018 (UTC)
References
35px|left|alt= ↗ Thank you for contributing to Wikipedia. Remember that when adding content about health, please only use high-quality reliable sources ↗ as references. We typically use review article ↗s, major textbooks and position statements of national or international organizations (There are several ''kinds'' of sources that discuss health: here ↗ is how the community classifies them and uses them). WP:MEDHOW ↗ walks you through editing step by step. A list of resources to help edit health content can be found here ↗. The edit box ↗ has a built-in citation tool ↗ to easily format references based on the PMID ↗ or ISBN ↗. We also provide style advice ↗ about the structure and content of medicine-related encyclopedia articles. The welcome page ↗ is another good place to learn about editing the encyclopedia. Verdigris
I noticed you added "somewhat" to the designation of verdigris as "poisonous". The poisonous status of the substance has fairly baffled myself and other users (though it's easy to find sources that use the label without much in-depth explanation of how exactly it's dangerous -- to the touch? by swallowing? Is there a distinction between being poisonous and toxic? etc.). Do you know of the specifics by any chance? Wolfdog (talk) 16:22, 1 January 2024 (UTC)

Preview – Consolidate – Summarize
Hello, and thanks for your contributions. Below are a few editing suggestions to make it easier for you and others to collaborate on the encyclopedia. Please ''preview, consolidate,'' and ''summarize'' your edits:
- Try to consolidate your edits, at least at the section level, to avoid cluttering the page's edit history; this makes it easier for your fellow editors to understand your intentions, and makes it easier for those monitoring activity on the article ↗.
- *The '''show preview ↗''' button (beside the "publish changes" button) is helpful for this; use it to view your changes incrementally before finally saving the page once you're satisfied with your edits.
- Please remember to explain each edit with an '''edit summary ↗''' (box above the "publish changes" button).

TCFH Changes
Hello, Thanks for your work on the TCFH page. I wanted to ask if you can undo one of your recent changes. The word "powder" is typically used to refer to amorphous solids. So saying that the Appearance of something is a "crystalline powder" is contradictory. Usually crystalline organic compounds are referred to as "solids", see the benzoic acid ↗ page. Can we revert to "crystalline solid"? Aldol732 (talk) 10:07, 18 July 2025 (UTC)
Muscimol as "Z-drug-like"
Hello, I saw an edit you made to Muscarine ↗ and was wondering about your reasoning behind it.
<small>"Muscarine is only a trace compound in the fly agaric ''Amanita muscaria'', though the pharmacologically more relevant compound from this mushroom is the Z-drug-like alkaloid muscimol." </small>
I think that describing muscimol as "Z-drug-like" is a mischaracterization because the similarities between muscimol and Z-drugs seem limited to their activity at the GABA-A receptor. Even then, the binding sites differ. Also, muscimol (an isoxazole) is structurally distinct from the Z-drugs, none of which contain an isoxazole ring as the central moiety. I would like to revise that statement to omit the mention of Z-drugs. Thoughts? Vortioxetine (talk) 16:27, 7 August 2025 (UTC)
