'''Welcome to Wikipedia!'''

Hello Mjeromee!

Welcome ↗ to Wikipedia ↗, a free and open-content encyclopedia. I hope you enjoy contributing. To help get you settled in, I thought you might find the following pages useful:

Don't worry too much about being perfect. Everyone makes mistakes, but you can click here ↗ to see how you can avoid making some common ones.

If you are still stuck, you can type '''<code>{&#123;helpme}}</code>''' <span class="plainlinks">[{{fullurl:User talk:Mjeromee|action=edit&section=new&preload=User:Legoktm/W/helpme}} here]</span>, and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Or, you can join the newcomer's help room at: {{irc|wikipedia-en-help}}, where volunteers can answer your questions.

If you are unsure of how to do something, you are welcome to ask a more experienced user, such as an administrator ↗. One last bit of advice: please sign any discussion comment with four tildes <!-- Just add the four tildes, withourt the <nowiki></nowiki> tags. -->'''<code>(<nowiki>~~~~</nowiki>)</code>'''. The software will automatically convert this into your signature. I hope I have not overwhelmed you with information. If you need any help just let me know. Once again, welcome to Wikipedia, and don't forget to be '''BOLD''' ↗! —Legoktm (talk) 19:38, 24 January 2013 (UTC)

Disputed non-free use rationale for File:Derrick Plourde.jpg

64px|left|alt=|link= ↗
Thank you for uploading ''':File:Derrick Plourde.jpg ↗'''. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this file on Wikipedia may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content ↗. This can be corrected by going to the file description page and adding or clarifying the reason why the file qualifies under this policy. Adding and completing one of the templates available from Wikipedia:Non-free use rationale guideline ↗ is an easy way to ensure that your file is in compliance with Wikipedia policy. Please be aware that a non-free use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag ↗; descriptions for files used under the non-free content policy require both a copyright tag and a non-free use rationale.

If it is determined that the file does not qualify under the non-free content policy, it might be deleted by an administrator within a few days in accordance with our criteria for speedy deletion ↗. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page ↗. Thank you.<!-- Template:No fair --> Fut.Perf. 06:44, 13 June 2013 (UTC)

Orphaned non-free media (File:Derrick Plourde.jpg)

25px|link= ↗ Thanks for uploading ''':File:Derrick Plourde.jpg ↗'''. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use ↗. However, it is currently orphaned ↗, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back ↗ if you think that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media ↗).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions ↗" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any '''articles''' will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion ↗. Thank you.<!-- Template:Orphaned --> Hazard-Bot (talk) 04:15, 14 June 2013 (UTC)

Nerf Herder references

Hello. I am writing to you as I found out you put five references of old news articles in Nerf Herder ↗. I am originally from Czech project and I translated the article and also plan to expand it (in our project). Would you be so kind and send me photocopies or just links of those sources? I don't suspect you of that those refs don't exist, but I would like to check and read them before I mark them as sources which I used... Would it be even possible? Thanks a lot for the answer. I would put your talkpage into my watchlist, but if I seemmed not answering, please remind me on my home wiki talk page ↗. --Mates (talk) 23:29, 7 November 2013 (UTC)

:The fifth one is in billboard magazine dated December 7, 1996 which I no longer have access to. Mjeromee (talk) 13:05, 8 November 2013 (UTC)

::Hi, thanks a lot! The fifth ref is OK I don't need it, because I have other sources for the information about the song Van Halen and Arista Records. I hate those paid archives in American and British news, but I'll try to deal with it somehow, maybe I try the 7 days trial to get the information. If you need some help in the future, you might write on my home talkpage and I would try to pay back! ;-). --Mates (talk) 13:39, 8 November 2013 (UTC)

ArbCom elections are now open! ↗

== ''Signpost ↗'' exit poll ==
Dear Wikipedian, you recently voted ↗ in the ArbCom election ↗. Your username, along with around 155 other usernames of your fellow Wikipedians, was randomly selected ↗ from the 2000+ Wikipedians who voted this year, with the help of one of the election-commissioners ↗. If you are willing, could you please participate (at your option either on-wiki via userspace or off-wiki via email) in an exit poll ↗, and answer some questions about how you decided amongst the ArbCom ↗ candidates?

&nbsp; If you decide ↗ to participate in this exit poll ↗, the statistical results will be published in the ''Signpost ↗'', an online newspaper with over 1000 Wikipedians among the readership. There are about twelve questions, which have alphanumerical answers; it should take you a few minutes to complete the exit poll questionnaire, and will help improve Wikipedia ↗ by giving future candidates information about what you think is important. This is only an unofficial survey, and will have no impact on your actual vote during this election, nor in any future election.

&nbsp; All questions are individually optional, and this entire exit poll ↗ itself is also entirely optional, though if you choose not to participate, I would appreciate a brief reply indicating why you decided not to take part (see Question Zero). Thanks for being a Wikipedian

=== The questionnaire ===
Dear Wikipedian, please fill out these questions -- at your option via usertalk or via email, see Detailed Instructions at the end of the twelve questions -- by putting the appropriate answer in the blanks provided. If you decide ''not'' to answer a question (all questions are optional), please put the reason down: "undecided" / "private information" / "prefer not to answer" / "question is not well-posed ↗" / "other: please specify". Although the ''Signpost ↗'' cannot guarantee that complex answers can be processed for publication, it will help us improve future exit polls, if you give us comments about why you could not answer specific questions.
