Leuren K Moret
Moishe - please, contact me regarding Leuren K Moret; you are on target, but some Wiki editors seem determined to keep her up despite their being no support for the first sentence of the article and the rest being equally self-serving and probably written by Moret disciples. Roger DUSTorydashowneratyahoogroupsdotcom - I have done the most research into Moret of anyone but PGallert won't post my sources.Rhotel1 (talk) 12:22, 13 July 2011 (UTC)
:Roger, I prefer not to communicate about wiki-issues via email. I have looked again at the article; it appears that one of the new sources is not reliable, and I will remove the items that have "citation needed." However, many of the facts as written -- that Moret was on the Berkely council, was terminated from said council, and that she lobbies internationally on fringe nuclear issues -- seem reasonable. Moishe Rosenbaum (talk) 20:40, 13 July 2011 (UTC)
:Moishe. Thank you, it is improved, but still makes Moret a "lobbyist". Moret is not a lobbyist. Moret is really a self-promoter and she uses Wikipedia to help her in that effort. I wish that you would contact me directly (I had to come to your talk page to see this) Rhotel1 (talk) 03:30, 22 July 2011 (UTC)
Jamaica High School (New York City) ↗
Thanks a bunch for your comprehensive editing on this page. It's close to looking like an actual article now. Keep up the good work. Pascal (talk) 09:01, 9 November 2011 (UTC)
:Thanks for the note. Wish I had time to do more... Someday soon. Moishe Rosenbaum (talk) 23:31, 9 November 2011 (UTC)
Fally Ipupa
The article on Fally Ipupa was created after I removed his name from the Kinshasa article. I don't feel it is worth fighting to keep people with WP articles off "notable" lists, so I let the reversion pass without comment. As to whether Fally Ipupa meets the notability criteria, I'm not sure, but as I removed his name from the Kinshasa article and was reverted (with a slightly misleading edit summary) by the same editor who created the Fally Ipupa article, I decided it would be best if I did not try to have the article deleted. -- Donald Albury 02:45, 26 December 2011 (UTC)
:Ah, now I get it. Seems reasonable... Thanks for the reply. Moishe Rosenbaum (talk) 02:55, 26 December 2011 (UTC)

Template:Did you know nominations/Nik Stauskas ↗
Moishe, I wanted to let you know that I was impressed with your review on this article. Nicely thorough in most areas, and you cover everything. I've done a little reformatting; if you place all your text flush left, the software puts it all together in a mass even if you put blank lines between it; it's usually best if you use the indents (colon or asterisk) so your formatting is retained. (I did combine a few things, to keep it from being so spread out.)
The only thing you may have missed is checking for close paraphrasing, which is when people don't take the material and put it in their own words, or don't do so well enough. There's a program called duplication detector ↗, which helps you compare an article to its sources by using their URLs. (It works well with most web pages, but not at all well with Google books.) In this case, a spot check is all you can realistically do—a few articles at most—with the ones used most often first on your list. The second and twentieth sources are the obvious candidates here. Most of the seemingly duplicated phrases are ones that aren't a problem, like the name of a conference or school, or points/rebound/assists scores. However, the duplicated phrase "season due to a hip injury" from the second source caught my eye, as did "Michigan is the closest major Division I school to Stauskas' parents house in Ontario" from the other one, the only difference being "house" rendered as "home" in the article. I've just mentioned these in the nomination template. BlueMoonset (talk) 18:39, 17 December 2012 (UTC)
:Cool, thank you, BlueMoonset. I didn't know about the duplication detector; I do now, thanks. I read every source, and I remember that one -- I was thinking in terms of verifying that someone actually said that Michigan is the closest school to his house, since it's a claim that may not be true. I'll use dd for the next one.
:And I couldn't figure out how to separate lines, but looks like your reformat should give me the right idea for next time. I appreciate the note.Moishe Rosenbaum (talk) 02:44, 18 December 2012 (UTC)
