List of equipment of the Armed Forces of the Democratic Republic of Afghanistan

Hey I see you removed alot of weapons from the list, I don't know if you saw the sources which were mostly images or videos showing Afghan Soldiers wielding those specific weapons for example the PKM ↗. Also I believe you have mistakened the AKM for the AK47 which is a very common mistake (practically every video game calls the AKM the AK47). Thanks for your contribution to the anti aircraft section though. Fortnitegamer3432 (talk) 21:04, 23 July 2023 (UTC)

:I removed them per WP:GUN-USER ↗ ''"When listing users of a certain weapon, only include users that have a citation to go with them. This citation must specifically say that the force, unit, or notable individual in question uses the weapon. That is to say a photograph of someone holding what appears to be the weapon does not qualify as a reference."'' Besides, Jane's (a pretty reliable source) specifically mentions the AK-47. Mr. Komori (talk) 21:09, 23 July 2023 (UTC)
::"appears to be the weapon" anyone who knew anything about guns would know thats a PKM, anyhow you were right about the AK47 in this image ↗ the soldier on the left has a AKM while the one of the right has a AK47 Fortnitegamer3432 (talk) 21:24, 23 July 2023 (UTC)

Removal of unsourced entries

Looks like you actually removed the entries at Humvee ↗ here ↗ because they are unsourced (with old tags too). Flag icons are appropriate in the Operators section. Regards -Fnlayson (talk) 01:06, 12 August 2023 (UTC)

December 2023

25px|alt=Information icon ↗ Hello, I'm Geardona. I noticed that you recently removed content ↗ from :Libyan National Army ↗&nbsp;without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary ↗. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page ↗. Thanks.<!-- Template:uw-delete1 --> Geardona (talk) 00:33, 25 December 2023 (UTC)

:Well actually I was removing duplicate content after I added the same content on a wikitable. Mr. Komori (talk) 00:37, 25 December 2023 (UTC)

Resources

I noticed you removing Global Security citations and replacing them with Jane's (thanks!). If you need access to yearbooks online, I've compiled a list of Jane's yearbooks hosted on the Internet Archive. Best, Schierbecker (talk) 17:36, 21 April 2024 (UTC)

Removal of SIPRI sources

For some inexplicable reason, you have removed the Stockholm International Peace Research Institute ↗ database as a source on BTR-152 ↗. I'm not sure that this is any less of a reliable source than Jane's or the IISS; certainly it is not an accurate indicator of how many vehicles are currently in service, but is a useful source for how many were originally in the inventory of former operators. I'm all for varied sources and see no reason to "standardize" uniformly on Jane's and the IISS footnotes, which seems to have been an unstated objective of your latest contributions there. <span style="color:#80461B;font-family:cursive" >'''''Katan'''''</span><span style="color:#80461B;font-family:cursive">'''''gais'''''</span> (talk) 05:10, 30 April 2024 (UTC)

:Personally, I think it's an excess of intricate information that may interest only a particular audience, but if you insist on putting them back on, I'm not opposed to it. Mr. Komori (talk) 07:38, 30 April 2024 (UTC)

Deceptive edit-summaries

To copyedit ↗ means to make wording changes, and fix spelling, grammar, and punctuation. It does not mean to add whole new blocks of material (https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Mummy_brown&diff=prev&oldid=1285195602 ↗https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=KSR-5&diff=prev&oldid=1285027078 ↗) Please make sure your edit-summaries accurately indicate the severity of the changes you are making. DMacks (talk) 16:18, 12 April 2025 (UTC)

Commons links

You have been violating MOS:LAYOUTEL ↗ by adding an external links section that only contains a Commons link. Please stop and self-revert these changes wherever appropriate Sturmvogel 66 (talk) 21:46, 27 September 2025 (UTC)

:I'm sorry, but I don't see any line explicitly forbidding it. The most that I'm getting is that EL section for Wikimedia links are optional? {{tq|Links to Wikimedia sister projects and Spoken Wikipedia should be placed in the last section of the page, which is usually "External links". If the article does not already have an "External links" section, then you may choose whether to place larger sister link(s) (such as Sister project links or Commons category) in whatever the last section is (usually "References"), or to create an "External links" section and use the less common inline form of these templates.}} Mr. Komori (talk) 22:27, 27 September 2025 (UTC)
::The closest thing I've found is WP:MOSSIS ↗, that ELs shouldn't solely have navboxes to Wikimedia sister projects: {{tq|Do not make a section whose sole content is box-type templates}} and {{tq|Instead, place the templates in an existing section, or switch to inline templates}}. Are you sure you didn't made a mistake here? Mr. Komori (talk) 22:42, 27 September 2025 (UTC)

Heyo, additional information for your North Korea Ground Army weapons list

I see that the "Unnamed OICW-type weapon" is listed under assault rifles, and it links to the AK-88. The weapon is a modified version of the AK-88-2, designed to resemble the South Korean S&T Daewoo K11. The article is missing a picture of the rifle, which is understandable as there don’t seem to be any good ones available.

One option would be this image from North Korea’s recent 80th anniversary of the Workers’ Party:
image001-633x375.jpg (633×375) ↗ (Unknown original source)
or this from an unknown parade:

SU-22 and R-40

Hi, I see on 3. August 2024 you added a reference to the R-40 (missile) page linking to a JANE's book and added in under launch platforms the SU-22 and SU-15 and I'm wondering if this is correct. I don't have access to the book myself, but I have seen no other evidence anywhere that the SU-22 ever had the capability of using the R-40 missile or any other long range missiles for that matter and there were only proposals to fit the SU-15 with the same radar and missiles as the MiG-25. JRS NV (talk) 15:14, 4 December 2025 (UTC)

:I couldn't find anything else in other books either, so I think it's safe to remove it per WP:ECREE ↗. Mr. Komori (talk) 22:44, 5 December 2025 (UTC)
