Wikimedia Commons name update

Renaming on WP:CHUS

Hi Neriah, It looks like you don't have User:Enterprisey/rename-reason-fixer installed into your userjs and since you process renames on WP:CHUS, the request reason doesn't like to the actual request in the rename log. Could you please install that userscript so that the linking doesn't lost?

Usurpation request

Hi Neriah, I just wanted to clarify that the username usurpation request made by User:A smart kitten doppelganger2 was made by myself — the purpose of me creating the brand-new account was to acquire (if possible) the doppelganger ↗ username User:SmartKitten.

Please could you confirm whether, given the edit count on my main (non-doppelganger) account, the edit count on my doppelganger account is still a barrier to username usurpation? I apologise in advance if I’ve misunderstood anything here.

: I marked your request as not executed because of the bot's words (the bot only writes that it is not the place, but does not mark the request as not executed.) The problem pointed out by the bot is that the requested username does not exist. Neriah (talk) 15:37, 26 September 2023 (UTC)

Usurpation hold duration

Hello Neriah, thanks for the ping. It looks like we recently switched to a 30-day hold time from Meta, but after digging into the old archives, it seems that all requests used to be processed after just seven days.
