Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Nebula Award for Best Novelette ↗, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Andy Duncan ↗ (check to confirm ↗ | fix with Dab solver ↗). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. <small>Read the FAQ{{*}} Join us at the DPL WikiProject ↗.</small>

Minor edits
Hello, please don't tag edits that add visible templates, particularly maintenance templates that require actions to fix like you did with this edit ↗. Help:Minor edit#When not to mark as minor changes ↗ offers some guidance but if any doubt, don't click it as minor. One of the keys reasons is that other editors might not see it in their watchlist and therefore not be able to fix the issue. Thanks, Woody (talk) 16:12, 11 July 2019 (UTC)

DOTY articles
You wrote "You do know that 95% of the entries on this page are deemed acceptable because of citations on their own pages. What do you have against this?" For a start, they are ''not'' acceptable. It's nothing to do with me personally, it's what the guidelines have said since 2018. Many of us are working hard to add references to the existing entries. Deb (talk) 14:06, 22 January 2020 (UTC)

Proposed deletion ↗ of :Prowler (Eclipse Comics) ↗
left|link=|alt=Notice|48px| ↗
The article :Prowler (Eclipse Comics) ↗ has been proposed for deletion ↗ because of the following concern:
<blockquote>'''The coverage (references, external links, etc.) does not seem sufficient to justify this article passing Wikipedia:General notability guideline ↗ and the more detailed Wikipedia:Notability (fiction) ↗ requirement. WP:BEFORE ↗ did not reveal any significant coverage on Gnews, Gbooks or Gscholar. If you disagree and deprod this, please explain how it meets them on the talk page here in the form of "This article meets criteria A and B because..." and ping me back ↗ through WP:ECHO ↗ or by leaving a note at User talk:Piotrus. Thank you.'''</blockquote>
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons ↗.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{Tlc|proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary ↗ or on the article's talk page ↗.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{Tlc|proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process ↗, but other deletion process ↗es exist. In particular, the speedy deletion ↗ process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion ↗ allows discussion to reach consensus ↗ for deletion.<!-- Template:Proposed deletion notify --> Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus|<span style="color:#7CFC00;background:#006400;"> reply here</span> 04:33, 2 September 2020 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Scribe Awards
Hello Nickpheas,
I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Scribe Awards ↗ for deletion, because it seems to be copied from another source ↗, probably infringing copyright.
If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to rewrite it in your own words, you can <span class="plainlinks">'''Awards}}&action=edit§ion=new&preload=Template:Hangon_preload&preloadtitle=This+page+should+not+be+speedy+deleted+because...+ contest this deletion ↗'''</span>, but don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.
You can leave a note on my talk page ↗ if you have questions. Thanks!

30px|link=|alt=Control copyright icon ↗ Hello Nickpheas! Your additions to :Scribe Awards ↗ have been removed in whole or in part, as they appear to have added copyrighted ↗ content without evidence that the source material is in the public domain ↗ or has been released by its owner or legal agent under a suitably free and compatible ↗ copyright license—''to request such a release, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission ↗''. While we appreciate your contributions to Wikipedia, it's important to understand and adhere to guidelines about using information from sources to prevent copyright ↗ and plagiarism ↗ issues. Here are the key points:
- '''Limited quotation:''' You may only copy or translate a ''small'' portion of a source. Any direct quotations ↗ must be enclosed in double quotation mark ↗s (") and properly cited using an inline citation ↗. More information is available on the non-free content page ↗. To learn how to cite a source, see Help:Referencing for beginners ↗.
- '''Paraphrasing:''' Beyond limited quotations, you are required to put all information ''in your own words''. Following the source's wording too closely can lead to copyright issues ↗ and is not permitted; see Wikipedia:Close paraphrasing ↗. Even when paraphrasing, you must still cite your sources ↗ as appropriate.
- '''Image use guidelines:''' In most scenarios, only freely licensed ↗ or public domain ↗ images may be used and these should be uploaded to our sister project, Wikimedia Commons ↗. In some scenarios, non-freely copyrighted content can be used if they meet all ten of our non-free content criteria ↗; Wikipedia:Plain and simple non-free content guide ↗ may help with determining a file's eligibility.
- '''Copyrighted material donation:''' If ''you'' hold the copyright to the content you want to copy, or are a legally designated agent, you ''may'' be able to license the text for publication here. Please see Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials ↗.
- '''Copying and translation within Wikipedia:''' Wikipedia articles can be copied or translated, however they must have proper attribution in accordance with Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia ↗. For translation, see {{section link|Help:Translation|Licensing}}.

Please read WP:DRAFTNOCAT ↗. Drafts are ''not'' allowed to be filed in content categories as if they were already finished articles in mainspace, and must be kept ''out'' of any categories while they're in draft. So disabling categories most certainly ''is'' "how things are done" on drafts, because drafts are ''not'' allowed to be filed in categories at all. Bearcat (talk) 10:49, 9 June 2026 (UTC)
