Georgi Gvozdeikov

Hi

Do you have source that he is member of PP? Same for Dimitar Iliev. Also, did you know the nominator of independents ministers? Panam2014 (talk) 08:52, 7 June 2023 (UTC)

:Gvozdeikov is a former MP from PP (https://www.parliament.bg/bg/MP/3730).
:Dimitar Iliev was a candidate for PP from their citizen quota (here's an interview with him talking about it: https://btvnovinite.bg/predavania/tazi-sutrin/kandidat-deputat-na-pp-v-upravlenieto-na-darzhavata-lipsvat-eksperti.html#) Nikolay4101 (talk) 09:48, 7 June 2023 (UTC)
:As for your latter question, some of the independent ministers were in PP-DB's original proposal (pre negotiations with GERB-SDS), but as far as I'm aware none of them are associated with or nominated by any particular party and if they were, there would be no public information about that. Denkov and Gabriel negotiated for a while and both (and their respective coalitions) had agreed to all the ministers by last Friday. I don't think you can say that they're being 'proposed' by anyone in particular. Nikolay4101 (talk) 18:31, 7 June 2023 (UTC)

1901 Bulgarian parliamentary election ↗

Great work on adding the full results. What is the difference between 'unaffiliated' and 'independent' though? <span style="color: orange;">Number</span> <span style="color: green;">5</span><span style="color: blue;">7</span> ↗ 21:56, 27 August 2025 (UTC)

:@Number 57 I'm not sure, that's just how they're listed. The Bulgarian word is a bit blurred and I wasn't sure how to list it, but the whole book is also written in French and the labels for the two categories on page 12 are "Indépendants" (I listed as independent) and "Indéterminés" (I listed as unaffiliated). I suppose we can change it to "Undetermined".
:I'll keep adding data for subsequent elections, there are fully digitalized NSI books for all elections from 1899 to 1923 and I think they have more that aren't available online. Nikolay4101 (talk) 22:15, 27 August 2025 (UTC)

Baden's argument for the Holiness Code referencing the D source

Hello. From what source did you find Joel Baden's argument for the Holiness code containing textual references to D? I can't seem to find him saying that anywhere. I have the book which is cited (citation 5, Coogan 2009 p. 126) with me right now and it does not appear to present any arguments, from Baden or anyone, for the Holiness code referencing D. Where did you get that from? Thanks! XaetaRhythm (talk) 22:27, 12 May 2026 (UTC)

:@XaetaRhythm The citation predated my edit and is not the source for this claim. I got it from statements by Baden in youtube lectures and in his twitter threads going line by line through the Pentateuch.<ref>{{cite web|url=https://x.com/JoelBaden/status/1347502605979807745|title="Baden's twitter"}}</ref><ref>{{cite web|url=https://x.com/JoelBaden/status/1378751946371301376|title="Baden's twitter"}}</ref><ref>{{cite web|url=https://x.com/JoelBaden/status/1473272456332955648|title="Baden's twitter"}}</ref><ref>{{cite web|url=https://x.com/JoelBaden/status/1442485664734384129|title="Baden's twitter"}}</ref>
:But if an actual source is needed, here's what I found:
:"We may note the important arguments of Stackert, Rewriting, regarding the use of both the Covenant Code and Deuteronomy by the authors of H. If Stackert’s conclusions are accepted, then H would indeed revise the nonpriestly text. However, Stackert argues, convincingly, that H was intended not to supplement the nonpriestly laws, but to replace them—the literary corpus that H supplements, in fact, even in its interaction with the nonpriestly legislation, is P"<ref>{{Cite book|last=Baden|first=Joel S.|title=The Composition of the Pentateuch: Renewing the Documentary Hypothesis|publisher=Yale University Press|year=2012|page=303}}</ref>
:And from Stackert, talking about H material:
:"Numbers 18 demonstrates the fundamental incompatibility of H and D, even as its author clearly draws upon and revises D"<ref>{{cite web|url=https://www.academia.edu/476180/The_Holiness_Legislation_and_Its_Pentateuchal_Sources_Revision_Supplementation_and_Replacement|title="The Holiness Legislation and Its Pentateuchal Sources: Revision, Supplementation, and Replacement"|author="J. Stackert"|page=189}}</ref> Nikolay4101 (talk) 11:52, 13 May 2026 (UTC)
::Thank you so much. That is exactly what I am looking for. XaetaRhythm (talk) 19:06, 13 May 2026 (UTC)
