Death dates

Hello Normantas! Can I ask a small favour of you? When you enter a death date in a biographical article, could you please use the proper template for that? It looks like this:

<nowiki>| death_date = {{death date and age|1970|11|9|1890|11|22|df=y}}</nowiki>

This example is for Charles de Gaulle. It shows the death date, 9 November 1970, in "yyyy|mm|dd" format and then the subject's birth date, 22 November 1890, in the same format. The "|df=y" part specifies day-first format (leaving it out puts the date in month-first format). This also calculates the age, in this case "(aged 79)"

If the subject's birth date is unknown but the age at death is given, use this one:

<nowiki>| death_date = {{Death date and given age|2026|3|17|83|df=y}}</nowiki>

The fourth figure is the age, of course. And this example is for G. M. Fazlul Haque, one of the articles that you recently edited. Thank you. Kelisi (talk) 02:59, 18 March 2026 (UTC)

::You falsely reported that producer Jefery Levy was deceased. He is, in fact, alive. You need to verify from multiple, CREDIBLE sources before you announce someone's death then edit their Wiki page.
