25px|alt=Information icon ↗ Hello and welcome to Wikipedia ↗! It might not have been your intention, but you recently removed maintenance templates ↗ from :AK-47 ↗. When removing a maintenance template ↗, please either ensure that the problem that the template refers to has been resolved, or give a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary ↗. If this was a mistake, don't worry, as this change has been reverted ↗. Take a look at getting started ↗ to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. {{box|color=#EBFFE9|align=left|CSS=padding:10px 20px;|I've noticed that you've expressed an interest in the Arab–Israeli conflict ↗. Unfortunately, due to a history of conflict and disruptive editing it has been designated a contentious topic ↗ and is subject to some strict rules ↗.

'''The rule that affects you most as a new or IP editor is the prohibition on making any edit related to the Arab–Israel conflict ↗, which includes discussing articles on talk pages, unless you are logged into an account that is at least 30 days old and has made at least 500 edits.'''

This prohibition is broadly construed ↗, so it includes edits such as adding the reaction of a public figure concerning the conflict to their article or noting the position of a company or organization as it relates to the conflict.

The exception to this rule is that you may request a specific change to an article ↗ on the talk page of that article or at this page ↗. Please ensure that your requested edit complies with our neutral point of view ↗ and reliable sourcing ↗ policies, and if the edit is about a living person our policies on biographies of living people ↗ as well.

Any edits you make contrary to these rules are likely to be reverted, and repeated violations can lead to you being blocked from editing ↗.

Your edit on "General Intelligence Service (Syria) ↗" and "Military Intelligence Directorate (Syria) ↗"

The '''"APRIL/10/2025"''' at '''"13:29 UTC"'''.

You deleted "Military Intelligence Directorate ↗" in the infobox on the article "General Intelligence Service (Syria) ↗". <br />
Do you known a source that show MID didn't preceded GIS or did you deleted it for another reason ? <br /> <br />

The '''"APRIL/10/2025"''' at '''"13:28 UTC"'''. <br />
You deleted "General Intelligence Service ↗" in the infobox on the article "Military Intelligence Directorate (Syria) ↗". <br />
Same question than above.

As I don't understand why did you modified these articles. I try to understand the reason. Anatole-berthe (talk) 14:14, 11 April 2025 (UTC)

:the new service is a domestic security and spying not a military intelligence OMA5577 (talk) 17:10, 11 April 2025 (UTC)
::We're right about the fact it's a domestic security and spying agency. <br /> <br />
::Concerning '''"military intelligence"''' I don't know if '''"de facto"''' "GIS ↗" do it.
::I can't found secondary sources about it. <br /> <br />
::As we are sure that "MID ↗" was disbanded.
::The question is who is/are the successor'''(s)''' if not '''"GIS"''' ? Anatole-berthe (talk) 08:04, 13 April 2025 (UTC)
:::well I read on Arabic twitter on some anti assad news accounts that the new reformed Syrian military has a new separate and reformed military intelligence agency OMA5577 (talk) 13:38, 13 April 2025 (UTC)
::::Thanks you for your answer ! If you can add references to these articles in Arabic '''(I suppose these tweets are quoting articles)'''. <br /> <br />
::::It would be a good thing to add these articles if they are considered as '''"secondary sources"''' and '''"reliable"'''. Anatole-berthe (talk) 14:26, 13 April 2025 (UTC)

Question

You are classifying various entities as far right, far left etc. What are these classifications based on and are they consistent with policy i.e. evidence-based actions grounded in reliable sources? If not, you should revert the edits so that other people don't have to do it. Sean.hoyland (talk) 06:03, 18 May 2025 (UTC)

MOS:SPECIFICLINK

I see that you've more or less restored your edits to National Umma Party ↗ and Democratic Unionist Party (Sudan) ↗. MOS:SPECIFICLINK ↗ says not to create two adjacent links as it misleads readers into thinking there is a single article under that name, in this case Sudanese nationism. Disambiguation link notification for October 22

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Viktor Barannikov ↗, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Ministry of Security ↗. Such links are usually incorrect ↗, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. <small>(Read the FAQ{{*}} Join us at the DPL WikiProject ↗.)</small>

25px|alt=Information icon ↗ Thank you for your contributions ↗ to Wikipedia. Regarding your recent edits to :Mohammad-Vali Gharani ↗ when you modified the page, you introduced {{cl|Unknown parameters|unknown parameters}}. Just because you specify {{para|some_param|{{var|some_variable}}}} does not always mean that variable will display. The {{para|some_param}} must be defined in the template. You can look at the documentation for the template you are using but it is also helpful to use the preview ↗ button before you save your edit; this helps you find any errors you have made and ensure that the values you have added are displaying correctly. Below the edit box is a '''Show preview''' button. Pressing this will show you what the page will look like without actually saving it. It is strongly recommended that you use this before saving. Note I have likely fixed the error by now so check the history ↗ of the page to see how it was fixed. If you have any questions, contact the help desk ↗ for assistance.
