An old bot userpage of yours

Hello, FYI, I've just moved what was presumably your old testing page {{noredirect|User:Phuzbot/Hello, world!}} to the right place at User:PhuzBot/Hello, world!. I found it in today's batch of bot-tagged U6 candidates in review ↗; it was tagged as such because the account PhuzBot ↗ had only edited in its userspace and the page hadn't been edited by a human for more than six months. A relatively trivial page, but there you go. Graham87 (talk) 08:11, 19 April 2026 (UTC)

right|80px ↗
The administrator elections process has officially started! Interested editors are encouraged to self-nominate or arrange to be nominated by reviewing the instructions at '''Wikipedia:Administrator elections/May 2026/Candidates ↗'''.

Here is the schedule:

Please note the following:

Ask any questions about the process at the talk page ↗. Later, a user talk message will be sent to official candidates with additional information about the process.

If you are interested in the process, please make sure to watchlist the appropriate pages. A watchlist notice will be added when the discussion phase opens, and again when the voting phase opens.

May 2026 Administrator Elections – Voting Phase

<div style="border: 5px solid #ABCDEF; padding: 0.5em 1em 0 1em;" role="article">
right|80px ↗
The voting phase of the May 2026 administrator elections has started and will continue until {{Administrator elections status/data|May 2026|end}} at {{Administrator election time|end}} UTC. You can participate in the voting phase at '''Wikipedia:Administrator elections/May 2026/Voting phase ↗'''.

As a reminder, the schedule of the election is:

In the voting phase, the candidate subpages close to public questions and discussion, and everyone who qualifies to vote ↗ has a week to use the SecurePoll ↗ software to vote, which uses a secret ballot ↗. You can see who voted, but not who they voted for. Please note that the vote totals cannot be made public until after voting has ended and as such, it will not be possible for you to see an individual candidate's vote total during the election. The suffrage requirements ↗ are similar to those at RFA.

Once voting concludes, we will begin the scrutineering phase, which will last for a few days, perhaps longer. Once everything is certified, the results will be posted on the results page ↗ (this is a good page to watchlist), and transcluded to the main election page ↗. In order to be granted adminship, a non-recall candidate must have received at least 70.0% support, calculated as Support / (Support + Oppose), and a minimum of 20 support votes. Recall ↗ candidates must achieve 55.0% support ↗. Because this is a vote and not a consensus, there are no bureaucrat discussions ↗ ("crat chats").

Any questions or issues can be asked on the election talk page ↗. Thank you for your participation. Happy electing.

City -> city

You've made a number ↗ of ↗ of incorrect automated edits - the City of London ↗ is referred to as the City! Please cancel this automated run and undo your edits. Turini2 (talk) 11:47, 30 May 2026 (UTC)

:Thanks for the heads up! This was happening thanks to AutoWikiBrowser's Typo system ↗, so I wasn't going out of my way to make those changes specifically. I wasn't aware that MOS:CAPS ↗ had an exception for the City of London. I'll revert the edits now. phuzion (talk) 11:51, 30 May 2026 (UTC)
::Thanks! I've given AWB a heads up about this, as you may have already seen. Ta! Turini2 (talk) 11:53, 30 May 2026 (UTC)
:::I've also fixed the two articles that you pointed out, and I'm going to triple check that none of the other pages I've touched have had the same error. Additionally, I'm going to finish the run of cleaning up the invalid parameters with typo fixes turned off. Thanks again for the heads up, I'm glad you caught it before I got too far into the category! phuzion (talk) 11:57, 30 May 2026 (UTC)

Your bot seems to be blanking articles

Hello there, phuzion. I have JUST NOTICED on recent changes patrol that PhuzBot was blanking a ton of articles, with the bot claiming to have "fixed" deprecated parameters. All of these articles will get G7 ↗ speedy deleted if not fixed quickly, so can you fix the bot problem? Thanks. – <span style="color:#e89505; font-family:Segoe UI">Simple</span><span style="color:#e6c327; font-family:Segoe UI">Objects-</span><span style="color:#e6c327; font-family:Segoe UI">9</span> ↗<span style="color:#e6c327; font-family:Segoe UI">ei</span> 🏖️/☀️/🥵 (<span style="border-radius:8px; font-family:Segoe UI; background-color:#045bc4; color:#0ff522">🌎 CentralAuth</span> ↗) 19:32, 16 June 2026 (UTC)

:Thanks for the heads up! I've stopped the bot while I investigate. phuzion (talk) 19:39, 16 June 2026 (UTC)
::I've reverted the blankings :) Vermont (🐿️🏳️‍🌈 ↗) 19:44, 16 June 2026 (UTC)
:::I appreciate you, thanks for taking care of it so quickly! phuzion (talk) 20:09, 16 June 2026 (UTC)
::I didn't see and decided to block as it was happening rapidly; I'll unblock now that it's stopped. In solidarity ↗, —Femke (talk) 🐦 19:46, 16 June 2026 (UTC)
:::Appreciate you hopping in! phuzion (talk) 20:10, 16 June 2026 (UTC)
:::For future reference, any non-admin can stop an AWB bot run by just leaving a comment on the bot's talk page. This triggers a "new message" alert which (unless I'm missing something) auto-stops any AWB run, bot or not. I've used this trick on other AWB bots before. Obviously we should all separately TROUT ↗ phuzion (I myself am, of course, 100% infallible 🙄 {{sarcasm}}), but just for some education this trick has come in handy before! :I've restarted AWB and will monitor the remainder of the bot run. Thanks for catching this! phuzion (talk) 20:09, 16 June 2026 (UTC)

Proposed deletion ↗ of :The Big Cases ↗

left|link=|alt=Notice|48px| ↗

The article :The Big Cases ↗ has been proposed for deletion ↗&#32;because of the following concern:
<blockquote>'''Fails WP:GNG ↗. Raised concerns about primary sourcing over six months ago, no change (do independent sources not exist?). Analysis of sources at Talk:The_Big_Cases#Notability ↗.'''</blockquote>

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{Tlc|proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary ↗ or on the article's talk page ↗.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{Tlc|proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process ↗, but other deletion process ↗es exist. In particular, articles for deletion ↗ allows discussion to reach consensus ↗ for deletion based on established criteria ↗.

If the proposed deletion has already been carried out, you may request undeletion ↗ of the article at any time.<!-- Template:Proposed deletion notify --> MIDI (talk) 06:52, 9 July 2026 (UTC)
