To get some practice editing you can use a sandbox ↗. You can <span class="plainlinks">[//en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Special:Mypage/sandbox&action=edit&preload=Template:User_Sandbox/preload create your own personal sandbox]</span> for use any time. It's perfect for working on bigger projects. Then for easy access in the future, you can put <code>{{T|My sandbox}}</code> on your user page. By the way, seeing as you haven't created a user page yet, simply click here ↗ to start it.
Please remember to:
- Always sign your posts ↗ on talk pages. You can do this either by clicking on the 22px|link=Wikipedia:Signatures|class=skin-invert ↗ button on the edit toolbar ↗ or by typing four tilde ↗s <code><nowiki>~~~~</nowiki></code> at the end of your post. This will automatically insert your signature ↗, a link to your talk page, and a timestamp ↗.
- Leave descriptive edit summaries ↗ for your edits. Doing so helps other editors understand what changes you have made and why you made them.<br/>

Please stop marking your edits as "minor" when they do not meet the criteria
25px|alt=Information icon ↗ Hi Poonam mamun! I noticed that you recently made an edit and marked it as "minor", but it may not have been. On Wikipedia, "minor edit ↗" refers only to superficial edits that could never be disputed, such as fixing typo ↗s or reverting obvious vandalism ↗. Any edit that changes the <em>meaning</em> of an article is not minor, even if it only concerns a single word. Thank you. <!-- Template:uw-minor --> Melcous (talk) 01:48, 28 March 2026 (UTC)

:I looked at a few of Poonam mamun's edits and they didn't look particularly problematic, especially from a newcomer. Minor formatting comment: there shouldn't be a space between the period at the end of a sentence and the reference. Alenoach (talk) 16:07, 3 April 2026 (UTC)
::I do not know what you were looking at, but I mentioned specific problems: AI generation of content (sometimes with hallucinations) and lack of references. --Altenmann ↗ >talk ↗ 16:56, 3 April 2026 (UTC)
:::Hello Altenmann, why cannot Dmart’s total store count or Gmail’s new feature announcement be added to their respective Wikipedia pages? These and other company pages already have similar news updates and these are not low-profile press-release items either.
:::You have reverted the edits without a note and are calling them AI-written, which they are not. I would like to get clarity regarding the nature of issue so that I can fix it. Poonam mamun (talk) 04:45, 6 April 2026 (UTC)
25px|alt=Information icon ↗ Hello, I'm Kerry Raymond. Thank you for editing Wikipedia. I noticed that some of the linking you did {{#if:St Aubins, Rockhampton|at St Aubins, Rockhampton ↗}} via the Add a Link structured task ↗ appears to have added an inappropriate link.
Please keep in mind that the link suggestions you are shown are machine-generated and will be wrong some of the time. Your role in the task is to identify which suggestions are correct and add only those links.
We value a small number of good edits over a larger number with more errors, so you are encouraged to edit slowly at a pace that makes you confident in your judgements. Editors who rush through the task and make many errors may be restricted.
If you have any questions about the Add a Link task, feel free to reply to ask me or to submit a question to your mentor. Thank you.<!-- Template:Uw-addalink --> Kerry (talk) 23:44, 17 April 2026 (UTC)
National varieties of English
25px|alt=Information icon ↗ Hello. In a recent edit to the page :Patriot Prayer ↗, you changed one or more words or styles from one national variety of English to another. Because Wikipedia has readers from all over the world, our policy is to respect national varieties of English ↗ in Wikipedia articles.
For a subject exclusively related to the United Kingdom (for example, a famous British person), use British English ↗. For something related to the United States in the same way, use American English ↗. For something related to another English-speaking country ↗, such as Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Ireland, India, or Pakistan, use the variety of English used there. For an international topic, use the form of English that the ''first'' author of the article used.
In view of that, please don't change articles from one version of English to another, even if you don't normally use the version in which the article is written. Respect other people's versions of English. They, in turn, should respect yours. Other general guidelines on how Wikipedia articles are written can be found in the Manual of Style ↗. If you have any questions about this, you can ask me on my talk page or visit the help desk ↗. ''Also the edit summary seems unnecessarily jocular.'' <!-- Template:uw-engvar --> Bishonen | tålk 10:02, 8 April 2026 (UTC)

25px|alt=Information icon ↗ Thank you for your contributions ↗ to Wikipedia. Regarding your recent edits to :Airtel Payments Bank ↗ when you modified the page, you introduced {{cl|Unknown parameters|unknown parameters}}. Just because you specify {{para|some_param|{{var|some_variable}}}} does not always mean that variable will display. The {{para|some_param}} must be defined in the template. You can look at the documentation for the template you are using but it is also helpful to use the preview ↗ button before you save your edit; this helps you find any errors you have made and ensure that the values you have added are displaying correctly. Below the edit box is a '''Show preview''' button. Pressing this will show you what the page will look like without actually saving it. It is strongly recommended that you use this before saving. Note I have likely fixed the error by now so check the history ↗ of the page to see how it was fixed. If you have any questions, contact the help desk ↗ for assistance.
Thank you.<!-- User:Zackmann08/uw/Unknown-params-warning --> '''<span style="color:#00d5ff !important">Zack</span><span style="color:#007F94 !important">mann</span>''' (<sup>Talk to me ↗</sup>/<sub><span style="color:orange !important">What I been doing</span> ↗</sub>) 16:22, 24 May 2026 (UTC)
Disambiguation link notification for May 26
Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Bila, A River Cycle ↗, a link pointing to the disambiguation page Palestinian resistance ↗ was added. Such links are usually incorrect ↗, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. <small>(Read the FAQ{{*}} Join us at the DPL WikiProject ↗.)</small>
It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, --DPL bot (talk) 22:21, 26 May 2026 (UTC)
Your Straight pride edits
Hey, good to have you here trying to improve Wikipedia!
I just undid a couple of grammar edits you did to the article Straight pride ↗. While grammar is important, one of the things you edited was the title of an article we were citing, the other a quote from someone. For things like titles and quotes, we want to be presenting them ''accurately'', whether or not they were perfectly grammatical. So you can save yourself the time of making such edits in the future. And I hope you keep trying to improve Wikipedia! -- Nat Gertler (talk) 13:35, 8 June 2026 (UTC)
