Neon Genesis Evangelion

Hello! I understand how it would be nice if we continued on the Neon Genesis Evangelion Timeline ↗, but I can't really do it on my own. Do you watch Neon Genesis Evangelion? I'm sure you'd be a lot of help if you helped out. You see, I haven't seen the entire series, so it would be nice to have someone help me finish it. I mean, I have read spoilers, so I'm not completely in the dark about everything. - Brittany

Thanks for uploading ''':Image:Lobo Fuerte.jpg ↗'''. I notice the image page currently doesn't specify who created the image, so the copyright ↗ status is therefore unclear. If you have not created the image yourself then you need to argue that we have the right to use the image on Wikipedia (see copyright tagging below). If you have not created the image yourself then you should also specify where you found it, i.e., in most cases link to the website where you got it, and the terms of use for content from that page.

If the image also doesn't have a copyright tag then you must also add one. If you created/took the picture then you can use {{tl|GFDL}} to release it under the GFDL ↗. If you believe the image qualifies as fair use, please read fair use ↗, and then use a tag such as {{tlp|Non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair_use ↗. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags ↗ for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other images, please check that you have specified their source and copyright tagged them, too. You can find a list of image pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions ↗" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any unsourced and untagged images will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion ↗. Thank you. CLW 15:30, 19 January 2006 (UTC)

Image copyright problem with Image:Lobo Fuerte.jpg

Thanks for uploading :Image:Lobo Fuerte.jpg ↗. However, the image may soon be deleted unless we can determine the copyright holder and copyright status. The Wikimedia Foundation ↗ is very careful about the images included in Wikipedia ↗ because of copyright law ↗ (see Wikipedia's Copyright policy ↗).

The copyright holder is usually the creator, the creator's employer, or the last person who was transferred ownership rights. Copyright information on images is signified using copyright templates. The three basic license types on Wikipedia are open content ↗, public domain ↗, and fair use ↗. Find the appropriate template in Wikipedia:Image copyright tags ↗ and place it on the image page like this: <code><nowiki>{{TemplateName}}</nowiki></code>.

Please signify the copyright information on any other images you have uploaded or will upload. Remember that images without this important information can be deleted by an administrator. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me. Thank you. CLW 15:30, 19 January 2006 (UTC)

License tagging for Image:FPP&PHook.jpg

Thanks for uploading :Image:FPP&PHook.jpg ↗. Wikipedia gets hundreds of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag ↗ applied to the image description page ↗ indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

32px|left|Image Copyright problem ↗
Thanks for uploading ''':Image:Superman-bizarroworld1.jpg ↗'''. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright ↗ status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.

As well as adding the source, please add a proper copyright licensing tag if the file doesn't have one already. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{Tl|GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL ↗. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content ↗, use a tag such as {{tlp|non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use ↗. Fair use rationale for :Image:Bizarro2.jpg ↗

Thanks for uploading or contributing to ''':Image:Bizarro2.jpg ↗'''. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use ↗ but there is no explanation or rationale ↗ as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template ↗, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use. Suggestions on how to do so can be found here ↗.

Please go to the image description page ↗ and edit it to include a fair use rationale ↗. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline ↗ is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Proposed deletion ↗ of Neon Genesis Evangelion timeline ↗

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the <code>{{tl|dated prod}}</code> notice, but please explain why in your edit summary ↗ or on the article's talk page ↗.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing <code>{{tl|dated prod}}</code> will stop the proposed deletion process ↗, but other deletion process ↗es exist. Thanks for uploading or contributing to ''':File:Kabur1.jpg ↗'''. InSecurity (Comic strip) ↗ moved to draftspace

An article you recently created, InSecurity (Comic strip) ↗, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable ↗, independent sources ↗. <small>(? ↗)</small> Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability ↗ is of central importance ↗ on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace ↗ (with a prefix of "<code>Draft:</code>" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline ↗ and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. creffett (talk) 02:43, 2 April 2020 (UTC)

December 2020

25px|alt=Information icon ↗ Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia ↗. You appear to be repeatedly reverting or undoing ↗ other editors' contributions at :Endless (comics) ↗. Although this may seem necessary to protect your preferred version of a page, on Wikipedia this is known as "edit warring ↗" and is usually seen as obstructing the normal editing process ↗, as it often creates animosity between editors. Instead of reverting, please discuss the situation with the editor(s) involved and try to reach a consensus ↗ on the talk page ↗.

If editors continue to revert to their preferred version they are likely to lose their editing privileges ↗ on that page. This isn't done to punish an editor, but to prevent the disruption caused by edit warring ↗. In particular, editors should be aware of the three-revert rule ↗, which says that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Edit warring on Wikipedia is not acceptable in any amount, and violating the three-revert rule is very likely to result in loss of your editing privileges. Thank you.<!-- Template:uw-ewsoft --> --<b><span style="color:black">Deep</span><span style="color:red">fried</span><span style="color:DarkOrange">okra</span> (<span style="color:black">talk</span>)</b> 14:40, 7 December 2020 (UTC)

You accused *me* of vandalism?

Right back atcha, champ. Look at that page's history -- multiple people have edited that article, over several years, replacing "it" with "they" pronouns. YOU are the only one who squats on the page and immediately switches the pronouns back to "it". As obsessions go, yours is a strange one.

Language and usage has changed in 30 years. Get used to that fact. Phaseolus (talk) 23:05, 10 December 2020 (UTC)

Proposed deletion ↗ of :Grease Monkey ↗

left|link=|alt=Notice|48px| ↗

The article :Grease Monkey ↗ has been proposed for deletion ↗&#32;because of the following concern:
<blockquote>'''Unref article on book by non-notable author. Doesn't meet WP:NBOOK ↗ or WP:GNG ↗.'''</blockquote>

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons ↗.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{Tlc|proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary ↗ or on the article's talk page ↗.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{Tlc|proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process ↗, but other deletion process ↗es exist. In particular, the speedy deletion ↗ process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion ↗ allows discussion to reach consensus ↗ for deletion.<!-- Template:Proposed deletion notify --> Boleyn (talk) 15:48, 17 November 2023 (UTC)
