This is my 3rd time asking for a resolution regarding this draft

MUIC26, This is a fan-made project Draft:Miss_Universe_International_Convention_2026 ↗ <!-- Template:Unsigned --><small class="autosigned">—&nbsp;Preceding unsigned ↗ comment added by FujikoPedia (talkcontribs ↗) 13:15, 27 April 2026 (UTC)</small> <!--Autosigned by SineBot-->

@RangersRus: Draft:Anuradhapura invasion of Chola Kingdom (114-136)

In the last discussion you said that you would check the sources and let me know and its been almost two months and still no answer and clearly the sources which i provided show the historical accuracy of the event and i hope i get a resolution regarding the draft. Thanks TeenX808 (talk) 10:34, 13 December 2025 (UTC)

:From the discussion we had, remove all unreliable sources and its content. Only use reliable sources by actual academics who are historians and modern era sources. Please rewrite article with neutrality as per what each historians say about the incident as real and myth. RangersRus (talk) 01:06, 15 December 2025 (UTC)
::@RangersRus: i will update it and let you know, should the last section be removed which gives a overview of all historians and their thoughts on the event. Thanks TeenX808 (talk) 20:51, 15 December 2025 (UTC)
::@RangersRus: Hi i couldn't start the article because i was busy, I have mentioned in the places which are exaggerated should i remove the legacy info and add which info are directly mythical ?
::Almost every single author is a historian and says similar info to the rest.
::If all the problems are fixed shall i resubmit. TeenX808 (talk) 04:36, 23 January 2026 (UTC)
:::There was more to this discussion that we talked about and you have not addressed it. Please see what I said last. RangersRus (talk) 10:55, 24 January 2026 (UTC)
::::@RangersRus: You asked me to remove the mythical elements and i did plus added a source also mentioned how some historians consider the event exaggerated.
::::The reason you might think more should be removed is the mention of the giant which was never included in the article and for some reason brought up in the discussion. if i missed something please can you point out and i will do the change. Thanks

Draft: Girl In The Year Above

Hi @RangersRus - I've resubmitted this draft page for review today - hopefully it now meets the criteria for notability of a musical act as the band have had a song listed on the Official UK Singles Chart, in addition to the previous references, plus some new radio play and press articles. Thanks. Pinkplectrum (talk) 15:18, 30 March 2026 (UTC)

:Just to say I have now added several additional references including a full page in Rolling Stone UK on the band. Would love to know if this is getting close to meeting notability criteria now. Thanks for your help Pinkplectrum (talk) 17:09, 9 June 2026 (UTC)

First time draft submission

Hi @RangersRus! Just wanted to thank you for taking the time to review my very first article submission. It was, uh, promptly rejected lol, (no hard feelings) but I appreciate it nonetheless. I don't disagree with the rejection - I'd suspected it hadn't met notability requirements but wasn't sure if there was a true set amount of sources a subject needs, so I'd gone for it anyway. I'd submitted another draft with a few more sources I could find, but eh we'll see- might have to wait until more new coverage comes out.

Anyway, I've fallen down this rabbit hole of wikipedia contributions and article creation - I find all of this fascinating. Hoping if you had time you'd give me some tips, suggestions, or lessons learned when it comes to creating new wikipedia articles of AfC editing in general (or specific to the Draft:Shawna Lander ↗ I had been working on). Thank you! Stormh99 (talk) 20:39, 20 April 2026 (UTC)

Draft:Erik Geslin Rejected requesting clarification

Hi @RangersRus,

I noticed that you rejected my revised biography article yesterday, even though it had been significantly updated following the feedback from previous reviewers.

You mentioned the need for sources that:
provide significant coverage (not just brief mentions or routine announcements),
are reliable (from reputable outlets with editorial oversight),
and are independent (not affiliated with the subject, such as interviews, press releases, or the subject’s own website).

I included around 15 external references in the article. The four news sources I added come from mainstream media and are independent of the subject, not press releases or sponsored content.

Could you please clarify your decision in more detail? I would really appreciate understanding which aspects still do not meet the notability criteria, so I can improve the article accordingly.
I believe the subject is well recognized in their field and would be a valuable addition to the encyclopedia. As I plan to contribute more biographies in the future, I would like to better understand the objective criteria I should focus on.

Thank you very much for your time and guidance.

Inquiry regarding Draft:Ahmed Kamel naim

I am writing to kindly ask if you could take a second look at the draft for Ahmed Kamel Naim.
Since the decline on 23 April, I have worked extensively to address the concerns regarding independent secondary sources. I have added five international medical citations (from Saudi Arabia, Colombia, Honduras, and Cuba) and a retrospective analysis from the Medical Journal of Australia (1968) to demonstrate the subject's long-term academic impact.
I have also included digital verification links (DOIs and PMIDs) and independent institutional coverage from the Al-Sharekh Archive and Cambridge Core.
Before I officially resubmit, does the draft now meet the 'Significant Coverage' and 'Secondary Source' requirements in your view? I would appreciate any further guidance you might have.
Best regards, Mohamed Naim (talk) 12:12, 25 April 2026 (UTC)

Thanks for your contributions to Cultural Erasure and Urban Transformation in Pakistan ↗. Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing as a live article at this time because '''it consists of machine-generated text''' and '''it also reads like a WP:NOTESSAY ↗'''.
I have converted it to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.

Draft:The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier & Clay (opera) ↗

You declined the submission Draft:The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier & Clay (opera) ↗ a few days ago because "You need to add multiple critical reviews on the play and significant coverage on the lasting impact." The work is a notable composition by a notable composer performed at the Metropolitan Opera and broadcast on PBS. The article contains numerous citations from reliable, independent sources to that effect, some of which I added since your decline. I suggest the article should be moved to mainspace. Cheers, Michael Bednarek (talk) 06:48, 28 April 2026 (UTC)
:Notable composer does not make the play notable just like a notable actor does not make a film notable. Without secondary independent reliable sources on significant coverage, especially critical coverage, it can not pass notability. However, my decline was just a simple ask to add critical reviews. Here are some that you can add https://www.vulture.com/article/review-the-dismaying-opera-of-kavalier-and-clay.html ↗, https://www.nytimes.com/2025/09/22/arts/music/kavalier-clay-met-opera-review.html ↗, https://operawire.com/metropolitan-opera-2025-26-review-the-amazing-adventures-of-kavalier-and-clay/#google_vignette ↗. Draftification question

Hi there! I noticed you recently draftified Draft:Suspect (2024 film) ↗, and I had a question (you've done nothing "wrong"--don't worry!). Can you explain your process for draftifying? For example, do you use Move Page or a script of some sort? I'm trying to track down why some draftifications end up getting tagged for speedy deletion and others don't. Significa liberdade <small>(she/her)</small> (talk) 15:35, 1 May 2026 (UTC)

:I use move page. This page that I moved back to draft failed to meet WP:NFILM ↗. Unfortunately new accounts have access to move page manually to mainspace bypassing AFC review. RangersRus (talk) 23:53, 1 May 2026 (UTC)
::If you regularly draftify articles, I recommend installing the MoveToDraft ↗ userscript as it manages a few stages of the draftification process, including notifying the page creator, setting up the draft page, and marking the article space redirect for R2 speedy deletion. As a reminder, the schedule of the election is:

In the voting phase, the candidate subpages close to public questions and discussion, and everyone who qualifies to vote ↗ has a week to use the SecurePoll ↗ software to vote, which uses a secret ballot ↗. You can see who voted, but not who they voted for. Please note that the vote totals cannot be made public until after voting has ended and as such, it will not be possible for you to see an individual candidate's vote total during the election. The suffrage requirements ↗ are similar to those at RFA.

Once voting concludes, we will begin the scrutineering phase, which will last for a few days, perhaps longer. Once everything is certified, the results will be posted on the results page ↗ (this is a good page to watchlist), and transcluded to the main election page ↗. In order to be granted adminship, a non-recall candidate must have received at least 70.0% support, calculated as Support / (Support + Oppose), and a minimum of 20 support votes. Recall ↗ candidates must achieve 55.0% support ↗. Because this is a vote and not a consensus, there are no bureaucrat discussions ↗ ("crat chats").

Any questions or issues can be asked on the election talk page ↗. Thank you for your participation. Happy electing.

Request for re-review of Draft:How We Made Your Mother under WP:GNG

Hello RangersRus,

Thank you for reviewing the draft "How We Made Your Mother" and for the detailed feedback. I would like to respectfully request a re-review under what I believe is the applicable notability guideline.

Your decline cited WP:NCORP ↗ (Notability for organizations and companies). I would like to suggest that this guideline does not apply here. "How We Made Your Mother" is a podcast, which is a creative media work rather than an organization or company. The standard typically used for podcasts is WP:GNG ↗ (the general notability guideline).

For precedent, see the approved article for the partner show on the same network, Office Ladies ↗, which meets GNG through similar types of coverage.

The current draft cites significant, in-depth coverage from independent, reliable, secondary sources, including:

Each source has editorial oversight, is independent of the subject, and provides substantive coverage rather than passing mentions.

Could you please reconsider the draft under WP:GNG? If concerns remain under that guideline specifically, I would welcome direct guidance on what additional types of sourcing would strengthen the case.

Thank you for your time and your work reviewing submissions.

Draft: Joel Boung

Hello RangersRus

Thank you for reviewing the draft for Joel Ondoua Boung. I understand the concern that the current sourcing does not yet satisfy Wikipedia’s notability requirements for athletes and biographies.

I would respectfully ask, however, that the draft not be permanently rejected at this stage. Boung’s career has taken place mainly in Cameroonian football, where media coverage and searchable statistical records are far less complete than in European or North American football. The available official record shows that FECAFOOT listed him as BOUNG Joël ONDOUA, born 27 July 1996, a defender for PWD de Bamenda, and “Champion du Cameroun 2020.” He was part of PWD Bamenda’s historically significant period, during which the club won Cameroon’s top division and Cameroon Cup for the first time their history.

I understand that sporting merit alone is not enough for Wikipedia, and that reliable independent secondary coverage is still required. My concern is simply that top-tier African domestic football should be assessed on its own footballing context, while still applying Wikipedia’s sourcing rules fairly.

Could you please advise whether a revised draft built around official FECAFOOT documentation, independent coverage of PWD Bamenda’s historic title-winning campaign, and third-party media coverage of Boung would be suitable for resubmission?

Thank you again for your time and guidance. Judge-mental-007 (talk) 08:35, 19 May 2026 (UTC)

Advans Draft

Hello,
I’m reaching out to you regarding Draft:Advans ↗.
Thank you for your feedback. I understand your concern about the promotional tone. Could you let me know if the issue stems from certain phrases that could be more neutral, or if the structure itself is problematic? I want to make sure the rewrite meets AfC’s expectations.

Request for clarification regarding Draft: Shashvat Nakrani

Hello. I would appreciate clarification regarding the decline of Draft:Shashvat Nakrani. The draft includes multiple independent, reliable sources that provide significant coverage of the subject, including coverage from major publications. Could you please explain which specific notability requirements you believe are still unmet, and which sources you consider insufficient? I would like to improve the draft in line with Wikipedia policy. Thank you. Aman.rathee7 (talk) 14:47, 29 June 2026 (UTC)

:sources are mostly about him stepping back or aside from operations. And Hurun is not notable achievement as it's a platform promoting entrepreneurship through lists and research. For a person to be notable, the person who is the topic of a biographical article should be "worthy of notice" or "remarkable" or "significant, interesting, or unusual enough to deserve attention or to be recorded. The sources need to be secondary independent reliable sources. If you disagree, you are welcome to resubmit the draft for another viewer to look at. RangersRus (talk) 20:32, 29 June 2026 (UTC)

Draft:Claire Dodgson

Yes, hello, I have a updated draft to editor Claire Dodgson ↗ due to news about her becoming a director to Illumination ↗'s new film ''Not Alone ↗'' in 2027 and I was wondering if one of you that have checked the draft can see how it's up to wikipedia standards. I've been making more drafts around the people so far such as Eric Guillon ↗, John Cohen (film producer) ↗, and Pamela Ziegenhagen-Shefland ↗. One I'm also working hard on is the draft around Jonathan del Val ↗. I did remove and add some references for Claire, but the backlog is being stuffed over 5,000 drafts. So, still, I was hoping if you or the others can check back on what I did to fix Clarie's draft that will be fine. If not, next time. Thanks. &#126;2026-33078-81 ↗ (talk) 19:58, 8 July 2026 (UTC)
