August 2023 Good Article Nominations Backlog Drive ↗ reminder



The August 2023 Good Article Nominations Backlog Drive ↗ is at the halfway mark, and has seen incredible progress, dropping the backlog from 638 to 359 unreviewed articles -- a '''43.7%''' reduction in only fifteen days! But we still have over two weeks to go, and there are plenty of articles left to review:

flag orbs



I am trying to make similar orbs as to the ones you put on commons, and I am encountering an issue wherein certain SVG elements are too large or otherwise proportioned incorrectly in the PNG preview, which makes topicons look strange. :I uploaded a new version, hopefully this one works. For the flag orb templates I created :File:Flag orb template.svg ↗, and all the other files are a derivative of that. I'm not sure to what extent I can offer advice, especially if you use a different program from the one I use (Illustrator). I could help you make the other orbs, if you'd like? ::This works, thank you very much. It may be a software issue (not paying for illustrator for a one time thing), or it may be a me issue with designing it; I don't know.
