Little Clifton edit

I reverted your edit for a couple of reasons. Generally, linking to countries is considered overlinking - see WP:OVERLINK ↗. But more specifically, WP:GEOLINK ↗ says you shouldn't link two consecutive locations e.g. Cumbria ↗, England ↗ to avoid creating a sea of blue WP:SEAOFBLUE ↗. So Cumbria ↗, England is correct.
