Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Dorothy Hadley Bayen ↗, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Evanston ↗. Such links are usually incorrect ↗, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. <small>(Read the FAQ{{*}} Join us at the DPL WikiProject ↗.)</small>

Introduction to contentious topics

{{ivmbox | image = Commons-emblem-notice.svg |imagesize=50px | bg = #E5F8FF | text = You have recently edited a page related to '''the Arab–Israeli conflict ↗''', a topic designated as '''''contentious ↗'''''. A special set of rules applies to certain topic areas, which are referred to as ''contentious topics''. These are specially designated topics that tend to attract more persistent disruptive editing than the rest of the project and have been designated as contentious topics by the Arbitration Committee ↗. When editing a contentious topic, Wikipedia's norms and policies are more strictly enforced, and Wikipedia administrators ↗ have an expanded level of powers and discretion in order to reduce disruption to the project.

Within contentious topics, editors should edit <strong>carefully and constructively</strong>, refrain from disrupting the encyclopedia, and:

Thanks for your contributions to Model 1833 Dragoon Saber ↗. Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing at this time because '''it has no sources'''.
I have converted your article to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.

Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page ↗.

Hi Sarge Graham, I just wanted to let you know that I have added the new page reviewer user right ↗ to your account. This is a good time to re-acquaint yourself with the guidance at Wikipedia:New pages patrol ↗. Before you get started, please take the time to:

Question

First of all, thank you for the review! I have a question regarding the 'single source' warning left on the Global Hit ↗ article. Could you please clarify why it was flagged? I made sure to include various sources, including the KRA, Studbook, Kyunghyang Shinmun, and Racing Post. I’m curious to know why it is still being considered as having a single source despite these references. Thank you again! Coperacchio (talk) 07:19, 9 April 2026 (UTC)

:Hello Coperacchio,
:I added the 'single source' tag because the 'studbook.kra.co.kr' source was used primarily. This could be reused to avoid listing the same source multiple times in the 'References' section. However, I noticed that the source is not accessible; I received a 'Page not found' error message when I tried to access it. Could you please check this? Best regards Sarge Graham (talk) 07:29, 9 April 2026 (UTC)
::That’s strange.. it’s working fine for me. This is the official website of the Korea Racing Authority ↗. Since it is an agency under the South Korean government, its credibility should be well-established Coperacchio (talk) 07:37, 9 April 2026 (UTC)
:::I see. It seems the problem is on my end, then. Nevertheless, the source code that has been reused multiple times should be consolidated. In the Visual Editor, select 'Re-use' or enter 'ref name="text"' into the source code. Sarge Graham (talk) 07:52, 9 April 2026 (UTC)
::::These links are not reused source code; each one leads to a different page containing details for different races. Should they still be considered a single source even though they provide distinct information for each event? I'd appreciate your clarification on this Coperacchio (talk) 07:54, 9 April 2026 (UTC)
::::I understand that Featured Articles (FA) such as Japan Cup ↗ and Almond Eye ↗ employ a citation style similar to that of the Global Hit ↗ article. Coperacchio (talk) 07:58, 9 April 2026 (UTC)
:::::I see. In that case, I'll remove the tag for now. Unfortunately, as I can’t access the pages, I can’t verify this. Thank you very much for clarifying. Sarge Graham (talk) 08:00, 9 April 2026 (UTC)
::::::It is understood that the Korea Racing Authority (KRA) restricts access from the IP addresses of educational institutions due to regulations concerning speculative activities. This appears to be the primary reason for the access denial. Coperacchio (talk) 08:03, 9 April 2026 (UTC)
::::::It appears to be an IP range block. I will retain the source in accordance with WP:RS, but I plan to archive it as soon as possible.
::::::Thank you sir Coperacchio (talk) 08:10, 9 April 2026 (UTC)

Xiaomi MiMo review

Hi,

Thank you for your initial review of the Xiaomi MiMo ↗ article and for tagging the "orphan" issue.
I wanted to let you know that I have now linked the article from several relevant pages to improve its connectivity. Since the tag has been addressed, would you be open to re-reviewing the page and marking it as reviewed and patrolled?

If there are any other improvements needed, please let me know. I’m happy to keep working on it.

Hello {{BASEPAGENAME}},

thumb|400px|New Page Review queue November 2025 - May 2026 ↗

'''Backlog update'''

At the time of this message, there are 15,282 articles and 32,951 redirects awaiting review.

After the January–February drive the article backlog was reduced to 15,179 articles and the redirect backlog to 19,053 respectively. Great job! However, both queues are growing rapidly and any additional reviews are highly appreciated.

'''2024 and 2025 NPP Awards'''

74px|left ↗{{no ping|JTtheOG}} was selected as the NPP reviewer of the year for both 2024 and 2025, for reviewing the most articles amongst all reviewers.
{{no ping|Hey man im josh}} and {{no ping|MPGuy2824}} won the Redirect Ninja Master Award for 2024 and 2025 respectively, for reviewing the most redirects.

Overall in 2024, one Platinum, two Gold, eight Silver, 12 Bronze and 45 Iron Barnstars were awarded. Additionally, 66 reviewers got the NPP barnstar for doing more than 100 reviews through the year. In 2025, one Platinum, ten Silver, 13 Bronze and 38 Iron Barnstars were awarded. Additionally, 38 reviewers got the NPP barnstar for doing more than 100 reviews through the year.

{{no ping|BoyTheKingCanDance}}, {{no ping|Rosiestep}}, {{no ping|SunDawn}}, and {{no ping|Vanderwaalforces}} were inducted into the NPP Hall of Fame ↗ for having two separate years of 2,000+ article reviews.

'''January–February backlog drive'''

The experimental two-month long backlog drive concluded with 183 reviewers patrolling over 27,761 articles and 35,309 redirects, earning over 36,836 points. Congratulations to {{no ping|JTtheOG}}, who achieved first place with 6,484.6 points in this drive.

'''May backlog drive'''

An article-only backlog drive is currently underway. We are hoping to make a big dent in the backlog. You can read more about it or join at Wikipedia:New pages patrol/Backlog drives/May 2026 ↗.

'''PageTriage'''

An attempt was made to get the New Pages Feed ↗ to sort by date marked as reviewed instead of date created. However we had to revert it due to bugs. We may try again in the future. You can subscribe to the Phabricator ticket ↗ if you're interested in following along.

<s>25px|alt=Information icon ↗ Thank you for your contributions ↗ to Wikipedia. Regarding your recent edits to :Jockey Club Kitchee Centre ↗ when you modified the page, you introduced {{cl|Unknown parameters|unknown parameters}}. Just because you specify {{para|some_param|{{var|some_variable}}}} does not always mean that variable will display. The {{para|some_param}} must be defined in the template. You can look at the documentation for the template you are using but it is also helpful to use the preview ↗ button before you save your edit; this helps you find any errors you have made and ensure that the values you have added are displaying correctly. Below the edit box is a '''Show preview''' button. Pressing this will show you what the page will look like without actually saving it. It is strongly recommended that you use this before saving.
