:The photograph depicts the theater in late 1927, but the digital file was sourced from the Denver Landmark Preservation Commission’s 2024 staff report (denvergov.org PDF ↗), not from a confirmed pre-1928 publication. The original publication venue of the photograph have not been established. Until the image can be located in a specific pre-1928 source such as a contemporary newspaper, the pre-1930 PD assumption is unverified and the non-free use rationale under NFCC should be retained. We had a discussion on Talk:Clayton Long Trophy ↗ where I told him I wasn't aware of the new policies (new to me, at least) and said I would clean-up the existing article and not further use LLMs or, specifically in my case, AI assisted prose.
: A helpful Wikipedian did the cleanup on the  Denham Theatre  ↗ article on June 3rd.
