25px|alt=Information icon ↗ Thank you for your contributions ↗ to Wikipedia. Regarding your recent edits to :Nicholas Trübner ↗ when you modified the page, you introduced {{cl|Unknown parameters|unknown parameters}}. Just because you specify {{para|some_param|{{var|some_variable}}}} does not always mean that variable will display. The {{para|some_param}} must be defined in the template. You can look at the documentation for the template you are using but it is also helpful to use the preview ↗ button before you save your edit; this helps you find any errors you have made and ensure that the values you have added are displaying correctly. Below the edit box is a '''Show preview''' button. Pressing this will show you what the page will look like without actually saving it. It is strongly recommended that you use this before saving. Note I have likely fixed the error by now so check the history ↗ of the page to see how it was fixed. If you have any questions, contact the help desk ↗ for assistance.
Thank you.<!-- User:Zackmann08/uw/Unknown-params-warning --> '''<span style="color:#00d5ff !important">Zack</span><span style="color:#007F94 !important">mann</span>''' (<sup>Talk to me ↗</sup>/<sub><span style="color:orange !important">What I been doing</span> ↗</sub>) 19:57, 17 June 2026 (UTC)

Hi, Sentience Scholar. Many thanks for your interest in my article on Victorian Turkish baths. But I'm not quite sure what you are doing and would be grateful for some help. Clearly when I mistakenly add spaces where they shouldn't be and vice versa I am grateful when someone spots them and corrects them, as I am when I have inadvertently used the wrong hyphen/dash or inverted comma.
But I'm not at all sure what the amendment timed at '''Latest revision as of 15:12, 4 July 2026 ↗''' is all about, and where the original appears. I am very wary of changing wording where the purpose is to distinguish between entities which are so frequently confused, or where emphasis of differences needs to be made. But if you can let me know where this appears—I know I ''should'' know—I can get a better idea of what you are changing and why.
So far as your later amendments are concerned I'm not sure why you are changing the internationally recognised typographic symbol for an ellipsis into three periods when you have previously made some changes to ''reduce'' the character count. I use the international (single character) symbol … in everything I write and if it's a rule that three dots are to be used, please could you let me know who one writes to in order to suggest that Wikipedia follows international standards, Clearly the simplest thing is for me not to abbreviate titles at all but write them in full.
But I am genuinely grateful for the attention you have paid to the article on a subject I've been writing on for over 30 years, and am delighted that, so far, it's only punctuation and typos where I have erred. But it's the first set of changes I'm worried about rather than the ellipsis. Best wishes. Ishpoloni (talk) 20:48, 4 July 2026 (UTC)
P.S. I've just found the first part under Categories, and I'm not very happy with the changes, while admitting that ny original could be shorter. I'll write later when I've looked properly at any impact of the changes.Ishpoloni (talk) 20:58, 4 July 2026 (UTC)
