25px|alt=Information icon ↗ Hello, I'm Shearonink. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, :Prestonsburg, Kentucky, bus crash ↗, but you didn't provide a reliable source ↗. On Wikipedia, it's important that article content be verifiable ↗. If you'd like to resubmit your change with a citation ↗, your edit is archived in the page history ↗. If you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Shearonink (talk) 02:40, 26 October 2025 (UTC)
:Hi Shearonink,
:Thank you for letting me know. I’m new to Wikipedia, so I really appreciate your guidance. I added that information about the Prestonsburg bus crash without realizing I needed to include a reliable source. I’ll go back and add citations so the content can be verified as soon as possible. Thanks again for pointing that out. Sergggs16 (talk) 07:10, 26 October 2025 (UTC)
25px|alt=Information icon ↗ Please do not introduce incorrect information into articles, as you did to :Prestonsburg, Kentucky, bus crash ↗. Your edits do not appear to be constructive and have been reverted ↗. If you believe the information you added was correct, please cite references or sources ↗ or discuss the changes on the article's talk page ↗ before making them again. If you would like to experiment, use your sandbox. Thank you. Shearonink (talk) 02:41, 26 October 2025 (UTC)
25px|alt=Information icon ↗ Hi Sergggs16! I noticed that you recently made an edit at :Prestonsburg, Kentucky, bus crash ↗ and marked it as "minor", but it may not have been. On Wikipedia, "minor edit ↗" refers only to superficial edits that could never be disputed, such as fixing typo ↗s or reverting obvious vandalism ↗. Any edit that changes the meaning of an article is not minor, even if it only concerns a single word. Thank you. Shearonink (talk) 02:53, 26 October 2025 (UTC)
Recent edits to Prestonburg bus crash article
A couple of problems with your most recent edit:
- Sources differ as to the ages of various victims, see the 2 sources for Rita Matney's age. One says she was 7, one says she was 8.
- FindAGrave ''cannot'' be used as a source for asserted facts, see WP:FINDAGRAVE-EL ↗. The driver's age needs to be left as to what reliable sources ↗ state, 27.
:Got it, thanks for letting me know. I went ahead and reverted the changes back to how they were before. I understand about the age discrepancies and the FindAGrave issue. I’ll make sure to stick with reliable sources going forward. Appreciate the help. Sergggs16 (talk) 23:32, 26 October 2025 (UTC)

Hi Sergggs16. Thank you for your work on Mother's Day bus crash ↗. Another editor, 11WB, has reviewed it as part of new pages patrol ↗ and left the following comment:
{{Bq|1=I think this just about passes notability ↗. The ''L'Observateur'' source demonstrates WP:CONTINUEDCOVERAGE ↗. Please be careful when using block quotes, these can show up as WP:CLOP ↗ on our text detection.}}
