Deletion discussion about Federated States of Gapla ↗

Hello, Seungri400, and welcome to Wikipedia. I edit here too, under the username Devonian Wombat, and I thank you for your contributions.

I wanted to let you know, however, that I've started a discussion about whether an article that you created, Federated States of Gapla ↗, should be deleted, as I am not sure that it is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia in its current form. Your comments are welcome at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Federated States of Gapla ↗.

You might like to note that such discussions ↗ usually run for seven days and are ''not'' ballot-polls. And, our guide ↗ about effectively contributing to such discussions is worth a read. Last but not least, you are highly encouraged to continue improving the article; just be sure not to remove the tag about the deletion nomination from the top.

If you have any questions, please leave a comment here and prepend it with <code><nowiki>{{Re|</nowiki>Devonian Wombat<nowiki>}}</nowiki></code>. And, don't forget to sign your reply with <code><nowiki>~~~~</nowiki></code> . Thanks!

Possible Conflict of Interest

I see that you created Federated States of Gapla ↗ which states that Gapla was created by Wyatt Baek. Your {{Diff|User:Seungri400|next|917910452|user page at one time}} stated that your account was "The Official Wikipedia Account of Wyatt Seungri Baek." Please review the WP:COI ↗ guidelines and if you do have a conflict of interest, then please follow the guidelines that require you to not edit that page and to propose edits on Talk:Federated States of Gapla ↗. Cxbrx (talk) 12:27, 22 August 2021 (UTC)
:A bit more Wikipedia:WikiProject_Micronations ↗ says "Seungri400 (talk · contribs) - Micronationalist, President and Founder of the Federated States of Gapla." Seems like a self-declared WP:COI ↗ to me. Cxbrx (talk) 12:42, 22 August 2021 (UTC)
::{{U|Seungri400}}: As per your {{Diff|Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Federated States of Gapla|next|1040062306|edit to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Federated States of Gapla}} where you admit to having a WP:COI ↗ with the Federated States of Gapla ↗ article, could you please add a Template:UserboxCOI ↗ to your user page? Also, please refrain from editing the Federated States of Gapla ↗ page directly and instead propose edits at Talk:Federated States of Gapla ↗. I'd be happy to consider making any edits you propose. Thanks. Cxbrx (talk) 20:56, 22 August 2021 (UTC)

License tagging for File:Albuquerque Academy Logo.png

Thanks for uploading :File:Albuquerque Academy Logo.png ↗. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags ↗ to indicate this information.

To add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list ↗, click on this link ↗, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia. For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions ↗. Thank you for your cooperation.<!-- User:OrphanBot/untagged-new --> --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 04:30, 8 September 2022 (UTC)

Invite to join Wikipedia:WikiProject Autonomous Zones

Hello. I noticed you were involved in discussions related to micronations and wanted to know whether you would like to join a wikiproject dedicated to documenting various autonomous zones across the world.

It is currently in the process of being set up but it would be great if you could add yourself as a participant

You can join here Wikipedia:WikiProject Autonomous Zones ↗ DominusVilicus (talk) 10:11, 19 October 2022 (UTC)

Orphaned non-free image File:Flag of Asgardia.jpg

35px|text-top|left|⚠|link= ↗ Thanks for uploading ''':File:Flag of Asgardia.jpg ↗'''. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use ↗. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media ↗).

Note that any non-free images not used in any '''articles''' will be deleted after seven days, as described in section F5 of the criteria for speedy deletion ↗. Thank you.<!-- Template:Di-orphaned fair use-notice --> --B-bot (talk) 18:17, 18 February 2023 (UTC)

Jin article page move

I just saw your request to have his page moved to Jin (musician), I do agree that his article should be renamed, but I think it would be better for it to named Jin (singer) instead. So maybe change it to Jin (singer) <b style="color:black; font-family:Garamond">''Btspurplegalaxy''</b>&nbsp;<b style="color:blue">💬</b>&nbsp;<b style="color:#9D9E9E">🖊️</b> ↗ 03:42, 1 July 2023 (UTC)

"Gapla"

Please read Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Federated States of Gapla ↗. --Joy (talk) 07:17, 18 June 2026 (UTC)

:Oh, actually, I should have read that myself. It looks like you were involved in that discussion already, years back. While it's possible that WP:consensus can change ↗, we've had so, so many discussions about these micronations, most recently documented around Draft:Verdis ↗, that it's unlikely that it has. --Joy (talk) 07:19, 18 June 2026 (UTC)
::{{ping|Joy}} I believe the substantial recent press coverage (not present at the time of the discussion) warrants a mention in the article and redirect, similar to Verdis, even if it is not does not meet WP:N ↗. WP:NOT#NEWS ↗ is not justification, considering that it is relevant to the topic and that Verdis is also mentioned in the article. Seungri400 (talk) 07:30, 18 June 2026 (UTC)
:::Go argue that at WP:DRV ↗. --Joy (talk) 07:31, 18 June 2026 (UTC)
::::{{ping|Joy}} I believe WP:DRV ↗ is for page deletions, not edit disputes. Could I know why the revert was performed with that as justification? Sourced statements relevant to the topic should not be excluded because they do not have articles (for example, Verdis). Seungri400 (talk) 07:35, 18 June 2026 (UTC)
:::::I disagree with your interpretation of WP:NOT#NEWS ↗. You are promoting this topic based on recent press coverage. This is a general encyclopedia, not a storage depot for whichever micronational claims make the press. --Joy (talk) 07:42, 18 June 2026 (UTC)
::::::{{ping|Joy}} What I meant in that comment was that a topic ''without'' coverage in reliable sources should ''not'' be included (no independent, verifiable information). This information should be included because it is directly relevant to the section in the article, similar to Liberland and Verdis, and should not necessarily be excluded on the basis of not having reliable sources. It is unclear to me what policy makes Liberland and Verdis eligible for inclusion and not Gapla, considering that all three have reliable sources and are micronational claims. Wikipedia is indeed not a "storage depot for whichever micronational claims make the press," but this claim is directly relevant to the article and can cite reliable soruces. Seungri400 (talk) 07:48, 18 June 2026 (UTC)
:::::::No, I absolutely disagree, not every claim is automagically relevant to that section in the article. --Joy (talk) 07:56, 18 June 2026 (UTC)
::::::::{{ping|Joy}} Sorry, what ''would'' make a claim relevant to the article and how does Liberland and Verdis meet this requirement and not Gapla? Again, all three claims are supported by abundant reliable sources. Seungri400 (talk) 07:58, 18 June 2026 (UTC)
