Royal Naval Air Service ranks missing a stripe
Hi Skjoldbro, just a request when you have a moment, could you add an additional stripe below the executive curl on the svg images you created for Squadron commander (<8 years seniority) ↗ and Flight commander ↗ of the RNAS? As this is what exists in photographs ↗ of such officers, sources such as Coleman 2009 and Carman 1974, and page 112 ↗ in this pdf of a contemporary publication displaying insignia.
Additionally, there is insignia provided for "Wing captain not holding rank of captain", which is the Wing commander ↗ insignia with a star above it, if you are able to make the requisite svg. -- Cdjp1 (talk) 21:14, 8 June 2026 (UTC)
