Vandalism at Talk:Elf
Hard to interpret this as anything but vandalism. You can edit without any problems, so what happened there? Doug Weller (talk) 11:32, 5 October 2015 (UTC)
: Oh, I was just making a joke. I didn't think it was considered vandalism since it was just a talk page. Feel free to remove it. Sorry! '''<span style="color: #060;">flarn</span><span style="color: #090;">2006</span>''' [''u t c ↗''] time: 04:30, 6 October 2015 (UTC)
::I have. Seriously, talk pages are there just to discuss the article (not even the subject of the article, just the article itself). No harm done. Doug Weller (talk) 10:15, 6 October 2015 (UTC)

Vandalism at Talk:Elf redux, eg "IN SPITE OF THE MONSTER, AND THE COACH, ONLY TRASHY, I WILL BEAT DOWN THEM ALL"
I realise thishttps://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Talk%3AElf&type=revision&diff=727163204&oldid=715212560 ↗ is now a month and a half old, but reinstating your trolling and continuing to delete other editor's posts after my warning suggests to me that although I've reverted you again today we can expect you to do this again. And as it's not on my watchlist I didn't know anything about it until I was notified by another editor. Why in hell did you do this and why shouldn't I expect it to happen again? A short block now obviously won't prevent you from doing it again months from now, so the real issue is why let you continue to edit? <span style="color:#070">Doug Weller</span> talk 09:41, 11 August 2016 (UTC)
:I see the situation is worse than I thought, I'd missed the warning above for another talk page edit of yours. <span style="color:#070">Doug Weller</span> talk 09:42, 11 August 2016 (UTC)
: Okay, that's weird. I only remember adding that section once. And I remember being warned about it after that first time (which I thought was the only time) and I don't see why I would do it again. But it says I did, there's no denying that. I wish I could give you an explanation, but the fact is I have no memory of even doing it the second time, let alone why I did it. Sorry.
: As for the removal of another person's message, that's not something I would have done intentionally, so that must have been a mistake. Maybe even a glitch, like I clicked "new section" but it submitted it as if I was editing an existing section, resulting in it being replaced. I don't know.
: Really though, does it really matter if it's just a talk page? I mean yeah, removing another person's message is a problem, but again, that wasn't on purpose. But it's not like I was adding nonsense to an article. I was under the impression previously that you could say pretty much anything within reason on a talk page, as long as it had even a slight relevance to the topic. Even if it's just a joke. (That's relevant because of Pokémon Vietnamese Crystal, look it up.) I realized I was mistaken after you warned me the first time (was it you? I'm on mobile so it's hard to check while editing) but again, I have no clue why I did it again; as I said, I have no memory of doing it.
: So yeah, sorry. All I can say is it won't happen a third time. That's for sure. '''<span style="color: #060;">flarn</span><span style="color: #090;">2006</span>''' [''u t c ↗''] time: 11:23, 11 August 2016 (UTC)
::Another inappropriate talk page edit would be the 4th time, as you've been warned about another one. No, relevance to the topic is not enough, it has to be about improving the article, see WP:Talk pages ↗ and WP:TALKNO ↗. Ok, just make sure it doesn't happen again on any talk page. <span style="color:#070">Doug Weller</span> talk 11:56, 11 August 2016 (UTC)

Disputed non-free use rationale for File:KTVU Asiana Airlines Prank.png
64px|left|alt=|link= ↗
Thank you for uploading ''':File:KTVU Asiana Airlines Prank.png ↗'''. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this file on Wikipedia may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content ↗. This can be corrected by going to the file description page and adding or clarifying the reason why the file qualifies under this policy. Adding and completing one of the templates available from Wikipedia:Non-free use rationale guideline ↗ is an easy way to ensure that your file is in compliance with Wikipedia policy. Please be aware that a non-free use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag ↗; descriptions for files used under the non-free content policy require both a copyright tag and a non-free use rationale.
If it is determined that the file does not qualify under the non-free content policy, it might be deleted by an administrator seven days after the file was tagged in accordance with section F7 of the criteria for speedy deletion ↗. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page ↗.
