Re: Schumacher

It doesn't exactly help when all different sites come up with contrasting views. As per the FIA regulations, the pole position driver is the driver that is first on their official published grid. When Schumacher's penalty is applied, the driver that will go into the record books as the driver that started the 2012 Monaco Grand Prix from pole position, is Mark Webber. For instance, at the 2005 Italian Grand Prix ↗, Juan Pablo Montoya was recognised as the pole position driver, after Kimi Räikkönen took a ten-place grid drop for an engine change. For this to really work we need diversity and exciting content and editors from a broad range of countries regularly contributing. This is a way we can target every country of Europe, and steadily vastly improve the encyclopedia.
