I think Jeeny left cuz she thought I vandeled her user page. I didn't though, but someone did. I can't find anything that suggested it though look at her history on her talk page and you'll see it, but it seems like that's the reason she left. Seth71 06:17, 16 August 2007 (UTC)

Hey there,
thanks so much for correcting the SNL articles. The original ones were just awful.

<center>Hi there. Your username is listed on the '''WikiProject Harry Potter ↗ participants list ↗''', but we are unsure as to which editors are still active on the project. Your name has therefore been moved to a "''potentially inactive''" list. If you still consider yourself an active WikiProject Harry Potter editor, please move your name from the '''Potentially inactive ↗''' list to the '''Active Contributors ↗''' list. You may also wish to add <code><nowiki>{{User WP Harry Potter}}</nowiki></code> to your userpage, if you haven't done so already. Conversely, if you do ''not'' wish to be considered a member of the WikiProject, leave your name where it is and it will be moved to the '''Inactive Contributors''' section. If you wish to make a clean break with the Project you may move your name to the '''Known to have left''' section. Many thanks.</center></div>

{{{icon|25px ↗ }}}Hello. Please don't forget to provide an edit summary ↗{{#if:Big Brother 8 (US)|, which wasn't included with your recent edit to Big Brother 8 (US) ↗}}. Thank you. <!-- Template:uw-editsummary --> Rjd0060 01:20, 24 August 2007 (UTC)
:Sorry. It is not a huge deal or anything. It just helps. An edit summary should strive to answer the question, "Why did you make this edit?". Providing an edit summary, even if the edit is minor, makes Wikipedia work better by quickly explaining to other users what your change was about. That is from the article edit summary ↗ . It just helps that way when people look at the page's history, we know what your edit was about. If you look at that page, you should get a better understanding. There is even a photo of a page, and it shows what the edit summary box looks like. Hope this helps. - Rjd0060 03:25, 24 August 2007 (UTC)
License tagging for Image:Miraclesscreencapep5.jpg
Thanks for uploading :Image:Miraclesscreencapep5.jpg ↗. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag ↗ applied to the image description page ↗ indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:
This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions ↗. 21:09, 25 August 2007 (UTC)

I wasn't referring to your comment when I said that. I was referring to "'''...by the way, wikipedia is second life for corporations, not an encyclopedia...'''", which is what Wanzhen said. Sorry for the confusion. - Rjd0060 14:38, 29 August 2007 (UTC)
Ummmmm....I take some offense to the fact that you are saying that I should stop arguing. I am not one to sit on here and have a back and forth, back and forth argument. If you go through the conversation, it started with me and Wanzhen. I made my points, and that was it. It seems that Wanzhen and yourself are the ones that need to stop, if anybody. In my opinion YOU are absolutely 100% CORRECT and Wanzhen doesn't know what the heck he is talking about. I am assuming that you didn't really mean anything by saying that I should stop, but I just want to make sure. - Rjd0060 19:42, 29 August 2007 (UTC)

RE: Argument with Wanzhen
No problem. As I was typing that message to you, I started thinking that I was just probably jumping to conclusions. I know that guy dont know what he's talking about. I wasn't going to say anything else in that conversation either, but then I saw a reply that he had made, so I said something back. I dont like to let people think they are right, when they are so obviously wrong. That guy made me mad too. I find it more entertaining than anything though. I am not going to say anything to him that would escalate the problem, however I am going to defend my actions, and defend Wikipedia policies. I am not going to let some (________) do stuff like that. I'll let you fill in the blank yourself! OK. Glad everything is good. I think that guy is pretty much done now tho. I do see that he reported you and you got a warning. Too bad. I didnt think you said anything out of line. - Rjd0060 00:05, 30 August 2007 (UTC)

Orphaned non-free media (Image:Tothe5boroughscorrectartwork.jpg)
25px ↗ Thanks for uploading ''':Image:Tothe5boroughscorrectartwork.jpg ↗'''. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use ↗. However, it is currently orphaned ↗, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media ↗).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions ↗" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Thanks for taking the time to read this fourth edition of the project's newsletter. As always, thanks to anyone who made any type of edit that improved an article relating to The Office. The size of the edit or edits does not matter, as any help ultimately helped out that article, and thus the entire Project. As always, don't forget to check into the project main page every once and a while, where I will periodically post announcements that are related to different events. Have a great month everybody, and happy editing!
If you would like to offer any suggestions on the creation, appearance, or any other matter of the newsletter, please message me at my talk page. I'm bound to miss something that's happened with the project, so if I miss anything, please inform me of the error.

Image copyright problem with Image:Emmyball.jpg
Thanks for uploading :Image:Emmyball.jpg ↗. Angband (band)
Hello sir, I created an article about Angband, but It was deleted. once the previous creator claimed they are the first metal band from Iran to sign a deal with a European records company but didnt have enough sources, I have many sources like: www.lordsofmetal.nl , www.stormbringer.at , www.localradio.pehzeh.net
www.metal-rules.com , www.blabbermouth.net and their album has lots of good feedbacks, I created a page in my sandbox: User:Spada2/Sandbox the question I have: can I create the page not mentioning the first band thing due to their positive feedbacks? And I've been told that someone in the wikipedia Project Music should review the article first. Thanks in advance--Spada2 (talk) 07:59, 24 September 2008 (UTC)

would appreciate your help!
Hi !
I am new to wiki so i hope I'm typing this in the right spot! I'm reaching out to other users for help. As I understand it, I need to track down an established wiki editor to help me rid the first article i've created ("Stone and Stone")of the ugly box that was posted on top "This article has multiple issues....".
I know exactly how these complaints came about. In my ignorance on how wiki works, I gave myself the same nickname as the subject I was writing on and then a whole drama ensued, as it was assumed that I was my subject and that I was writing an autobiography! In truth, I am a huge comedy fan and biographer and was dipping my toes for the first time in wikipedia waters!
Any help or solutions you could provide me when you get the chance would be greatly appreciated! This poor little article certainly doesn't deserve such an ugly heading box because of my wiki-ignorance! Thank you in advance for your time! Comedybiographer (talk) 10:51, 24 February 2011 (UTC)

Disputed non-free use rationale for File:Miracles pilot screenshot.jpg
64px|left|alt=|link= ↗
Thank you for uploading ''':File:Miracles pilot screenshot.jpg ↗'''. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this file on Wikipedia may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content ↗. This can be corrected by going to the file description page and adding or clarifying the reason why the file qualifies under this policy. Adding and completing one of the templates available from Wikipedia:Non-free use rationale guideline ↗ is an easy way to ensure that your file is in compliance with Wikipedia policy. Please be aware that a non-free use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag ↗; descriptions for files used under the non-free content policy require both a copyright tag and a non-free use rationale.
If it is determined that the file does not qualify under the non-free content policy, it might be deleted by an administrator seven days after the file was tagged in accordance with section F7 of the criteria for speedy deletion ↗. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page ↗. Thank you.<!-- Template:Di-disputed fair use rationale-notice -->

;Project Updates
- A number of recent discussions have occurred to bring the Big Brother WIkiProject closer inline with Wikipedia guidelines and policies
- * Recent move discussions have allowed the project to follow Wikipedia's naming conventions for television ↗:
- ** An initial discussion ↗ was a first attempt at allowing community input on moving ''Big Brother'' articles.
- ** A mass move request ↗ resulted from the above discussion however, it was closed as no consensus due to the largeness of the request
- ** Other smaller move requests shortly followed suit on whether or not articles needed renaming. These requests and their result are listed: Africa, moved ↗; Big Brother: Over the Top, moved; Gran Hermano USA, moved ↗; VIP Brother, moved ↗; Finnish, moved ↗; Gran Hermano Spain, moved ↗; Secret Story Portuguese, moved ↗; United Kingdom, moved ↗; United States, moved ↗.
- **Following a community-wide request for comment ↗ at NCTV it was decided ↗ that American and British should be used as disambiguators over U.S. and UK. All affected Big Brother articles were subsequently moved.
- * A recent discussion ↗ on the former Template:Big Brother housemates ↗ and Template:Big Brother endagame ↗ was brought to replace these outdated infoboxes.
- ** The issue was eventually brought to TFD ↗ with a result to merge with Template:Infobox television season ↗.
- ** Template:Infobox reality competition season ↗ was created to nest inside Template:Infobox television season ↗ and all infoboxes were replaced.
- *In addition a discussion ↗ also took place on the former Template:Big Brother sidebar ↗ and country specific sidebars.
- **The result was delete and all templates were replaced with Template:Infobox television ↗.

; Project objectives
- Continue to improve ''Big Brother'' articles to bring them inline with MOS:TV ↗
- * All ''Big Brother'' parent articles should contain {{tl|Infobox television}} and {{tl|Series overview}}, either housed on the article or transcluded from a List of Episodes article, if there is more than one season of the series (see ''Big Brother'' (American TV series) ↗ and ''Celebrity Big Brother'' (British TV series) ↗ for examples).
- * All ''Big Brother'' season articles should contain {{tl|Infobox television season}} with the module {{tl|Infobox reality competition season}} (see ''Big Brother Canada'' (season 9) ↗ for an example).
- * The use of {{tl|Episode table}} and {{tl|Episode list}} with episode summaries of 200 words or less, or a general prose summary of 500 words or less, are preferred over other tables or formats (see ''Big Brother'' 23 (American season) ↗ for example).
- * Both ''Big Brother'' parent and season articles should follow the general format of articles described at MOS:TV ↗ (see ''Big Brother'' 21 (American season) ↗ for an example).
- * Any ''Big Brother'' series containing only one season should use {{tl|Infobox television}}, {{tl|Episode table}}, and {{tl|Episode list}} in its article but '''not''' {{tl|Series overview}} or any other season-specific templates such as {{tl|Infobox television season}} (see ''Big Brother: Over the Top ↗'' for an example).
- * Where possible both ''Big Brother'' parent and season articles should have information regarding production of the series.
- Per this discussion ↗ individual seasons of ''Big Brother'' should no longer contain a standalone article of contestants.
- The Impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on television ↗ has caused numerous seasons or editions to be cancelled, postponed, or adjusted significantly; any information relating to this can be added in appropriate production sections.
;Community discussions
- Please take time to visit a list of our current community discussions ↗ and participate.
