{{unblock reviewed|reason=This username was not meant to be promotional -- it's a Doctor Who reference. The TARDIS is a time machine. I am an admin based on the same side of the pond as yourself, and am therefore familiar with the acronym. The reason I did it was because there's a website with that name, http://tardisbuilders.com/ . If you are not affiliated with that website I will unblock and you can carry on with this username. If you are, the username must be changed. Sorry for the delay. — Diannaa <span style="color:red">🍁</span> (talk) 18:55, 9 December 2017 (UTC)
Hi Diannaa, I didn't realize you were asking if I was affiliated with that website; no -- I didn't know it existed. I figured maybe you thought the name sounds like a construction company. Thanks – TARDIS Builder (talk) 21:43, 9 December 2017 (UTC)

Gaming edit counts
{{help me-helped}}
What's the policy with regard to incremental edits, whether or not for the purpose of increasing edit counts? For instance, what's to stop me or anyone else from correcting 3 misspellings over 3 edits rather than a single one? If it's not technically disallowed, what are the usual conventions (and any essays / policy docs)? Thanks! • - • '''TARDIS Builder (talk) 07:52, 11 December 2017 (UTC)'''
:I don't believe there is a specific policy disallowing or discouraging incremental edits or large single edits. I think that you should do whatever is most easiest and most convenient for you and not worry about edit count. You might want to take a look at WP:EDITCOUNT ↗ which might contain some relevant information. My signature + timestamp combo
Original message here ↗.
How about this, {{ping|MusikAnimal|prefix=|p=}}? Any way to test if this will play nicely with scripts? I've moved all the formatting to the signature input on the Preferences page. This way I'm signing with 4 tildes instead of 3, and then 5. — <span class="nowrap" style="font-variant:small-caps">'''TARDIS builder'''</span>💬 | 00:10, 17 December 2020 (UTC)
:{{ping|TARDIS Builder}} Looks good! reply-link recognizes it (though it errored out for unrelated reasons when I tried to reply…). I'm not certain about DiscussionTools ↗ because that's not available on English Wikipedia yet, but I assume it works. To identify comments, scripts and bots usually look for a line of text containing a link to a userpage or user talk page, with a timestamp at the ''very end'' of the line of text. That is true with your new signature, so it should be fine :) <span style="font-family:sans-serif">— <span style="font-weight:bold"><span style="color:black; font-style:italic">MusikAnimal</span> <span style="color:green">talk</span></span></span> 00:25, 17 December 2020 (UTC)

Disambiguation link notification for June 1
Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Buffyverse ↗, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Possession ↗. Such links are usually incorrect ↗, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. <small>(Read the FAQ{{*}} Join us at the DPL WikiProject ↗.)</small>
It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, --DPL bot (talk) 05:59, 1 June 2024 (UTC)
Rcats
I came across your edit ↗ to {{-r|'Twas the Night Before Christmas}}, and I have a few notes:
# Per {{slink|Help:Minor edit#What not to mark as minor changes}}, edits that add or remove categories shouldn't be marked as minor.
# If you're categorizing an {{tl|r from song}} as printworthy, you should write {{tlc|r from song|printworthy}}, or else it'll be both printworthy and unprintworthy.
# Is {{"'}}Twas the Night Before Christmas" really a song? I think it's an {{tl|r from alternative title}}, or perhaps an {{tl|r from quote}} (in particular, a {{c|Redirects from opening lines|redirect from an opening line}}).
Just letting you know in case you didn't, or alternatively, opening a discussion if you disagree. Either way, thanks for your contributions. jlwoodwa (talk) 03:59, 21 July 2024 (UTC)
:@Jlwoodwa – thank you for the feedback.
:# I had always interpreted "categories" not to include redirect categories, just the "standard" ones that start <nowiki>Category: ↗</nowiki>. Now that you point it out (and after reading that help page), I can see the rationale for including Rcats as non-minor.
:# I did not know that, thanks.
:# It says in the article that the poem was set to music and recorded by many artists. It may not be ''just'' a song, but it ''is'' also a song.
