Editing
Hallo, Thanks for creating the article on St Joseph's Orphanage ↗. I've tweaked it a bit. Please remember to include authors and dates in your references, even if any automatic helper you're using doesn't pick them up: the various Preston Blog items all had authors and dates. I've also used a tool called RefRenamer to create human-friendly names for your re-used references instead of the numbers which Virtual Editor produces: this is generally accepted as being an improvement (and one of the things which many editors loathe about Virtual Editor). Welcome to Wikipedia and Happy Editing! <span style="color: green">'''''Pam'''''</span><span style="color: brown">'''''D'''''</span> 23:43, 18 February 2023 (UTC)

Warning vandals/disruptive users
Hi TLJ - on Wikipedia, if you see vandalism or disruptive editing, please be sure to warn vandals using the appropriate warning templates ↗. When users are reported to AIV having not been sufficiently warned, it can often make the negative behaviour look as though it has been overlooked, which often leads to further disruption from these users in order to further "test the waters". {{Ping|TLJ7863}} evening. There is currently a vote going on at Talk:Lucy Letby#RFC on Lead sentence ↗ about whether to exclude calling her a serial killer. :@ZLEA Mines a Mini 3 Pro, and just part of a hobby, not any actual work. Interesting that you were able to restore that. --- TLJ7863 (talk) 00:34, 2 July 2025 (UTC)
::Nice, a friend of mine let me fly their Mini 3 Pro once, it's a solid platform. The Phantom was a bit of a challenge. It belonged to my university's UAS club and was its primary camera drone between 2015 and 2017 before being replaced by Mavic Pros. It was kept in humid Florida storage for the next seven years, which obviously didn't do it any favors, before I rediscovered and bought it from them as a side project. The entire shell, right landing leg, and some internal components had to be replaced, and some parts had to be substituted for those of the Vision+ V3.0 model (mine is a V2.0) due to lack of availability. The photos I uploaded to Commons aren't even of the most recent work, as I replaced the top shell and GPS module (which was so corroded it was blue) a few months ago due to drift issues. I highly recommend taking a drone restoration side project if you're into that sort of stuff, but fair warning that most DJI drones beginning with the Phantom 3 lack modularity of internal components. - <span style="color:#6B8E23">ZLEA</span> <span style="color:#6B8E23">T</span><span style="color:#6B8E23">\</span><span style="color:#6B8E23">C</span> ↗ 00:48, 2 July 2025 (UTC)

Thanks. --- TLJ7863 (talk) 00:46, 2 August 2025 (UTC)
::Totally understandable! If a username "implies the intent to...advertise on...Wikipedia", UPOL states that it should be "immediately blocked upon discovery". That of course is compounded if actual promotional edits are spotted (then it might become a hard block). A username like the example above would fall under that plus WP:ISU ↗ and WP:CORPNAME ↗, which state with additional clarification that the username would be considered promotional (= "implies the intent to...advertise on" in my books) and therefore should be immediately blocked.
