Paul Vasileff

Hello Tarikhejtemai. I saw you reverted my edit ↗ that used the Refill 2 tool ↗ to clean up the duplicate references used in :Paul Vasileff ↗, but you didn't provide an explanation for the reversion. Was there a mistake in my edit or are there other issues you had with it? I look forward to your reply here. Thank you. – 108.56.139.120 ↗ (talk) 11:18, 8 December 2020 (UTC)

This one simple trick will transform your life

Erm well not really, however, if you install this script you will get lovely purple warnings whenever you make a mistake with harv/sfn references, like forgetting a source or including a source twice. Since lots of articles related to the Baha'i faith use sfns, and I gather that's one of your editing interests, you might want to give it a try. Best wishes, Wham2001 (talk) 15:28, 29 March 2024 (UTC)

:@Wham2001Thanks very much for the script. Tarikhejtemai (talk) 19:22, 29 March 2024 (UTC)
:@Wham2001 Also I was wondering if there a script that automatically converts citations to sfn or harv format. I am working on a python script that does that. It works to some extent but still has some bugs. Tarikhejtemai (talk) 19:27, 29 March 2024 (UTC)
::I don't know of anything, unfortunately – I do them by hand as necessary, which is quite tedious. I suspect that, because of MOS:CITEVAR ↗, there hasn't been much incentive for a script to be produced. I had wondered about writing something myself, but it always felt like a lot of work, and I couldn't see how I would start with what I wanted (which would be something that would allow me to selectively convert individual references). So I'm happy to hear about your script, and would be interested in helping you test it {{P}} Wham2001 (talk) 08:58, 30 March 2024 (UTC)

I have sent you a note about a page you started

Hi Tarikhejtemai. Thank you for your work on Hooshmand Dehghan ↗. Another editor, Klbrain, has reviewed it as part of new pages patrol ↗ and left the following comment:

{{Bq|1=Thanks for bringing this translation to .en for a translator of influential books. Independent notability is a little tenuous, as few of the sources that are still accessible focus on him as the primary topic. Nevertheless, a helpful contribution for readers, and with an obvious merge target the article is best kept for now.}}

To reply, leave a comment here and begin it with {{code|<nowiki>{{Re|</nowiki>Klbrain<nowiki>}}</nowiki>}}. <small>(Message delivered via the Page Curation ↗ tool, on behalf of the reviewer.)</small><!-- Template:Sentnote-NPF -->

Klbrain (talk) 18:37, 26 November 2025 (UTC)

:Thanks Klbrain for the review and improving the article. I’ll try to find relevant articles and link them to this article. Tarikhejtemai (talk) 19:02, 26 November 2025 (UTC)

about your Hushmand Dehqan edits

Thank you for your edits and effort to add more information to the Hushmand Dehqan article.

I reverted the translations section to its previous state and kept a number of your sources and translations that were more relevant, maintaining a consistent format within the article. The reasons for this action were:

Maintaining Focus: This article is currently being prepared for a Good Article (GA) nomination. For success in this process, we must primarily focus on Dehqan's specialized and academic work in Babi studies and Islamic mysticism, and avoid listing long lists of general translations (such as novels or self-help books without specialized reviews), so as not to dilute the article's focus.

Referencing Consistency: High-level articles must be completely consistent in source formatting. Your edits unintentionally disrupted this consistency.

Thank you again for your cooperation. For now, please hold off on further edits, as we intend to nominate the article for Good Article status. Thank you very much for your understanding."Mojgoon (talk) 19:19, 27 November 2025 (UTC)

:Thank you for the message, I’ll hold off making any edits to the page for, please let me know if you need any help with it. Thanks for working on such an important article. Tarikhejtemai (talk) 16:08, 28 November 2025 (UTC)

25px|alt=Information icon ↗ Hello. Thank you for your contributions ↗ to Wikipedia ↗. I noticed that one or more recent edits you made did not have an edit summary ↗. Collaboration among editors is fundamental to Wikipedia, and every edit should be explained by a clear edit summary ↗, or by discussion on the talk page ↗. Please use the edit summary field to explain your reasoning for an edit or to describe what it changes. Summaries save time for other editors and reduce the chances that your edit will be misunderstood. For some edits, an adequate summary may be quite brief ↗.

The edit summary field looks like this:
{{Edit summary field/OOUI}}

or in the visual editor:
{{Edit summary field/VisualEditor}}

:@Diannaa Hi Diannaa, could you please elaborate on your message? I have a book called ''The World of the Bahá'í Faith ↗'', and I cited it as a source in my contribution to this article ↗. I did not copy text from the book; I paraphrased the relevant information and cited the source accordingly. Is there anything wrong with that? Thanks! Tarikhejtemai (talk) 21:00, 4 July 2026 (UTC)
