Soft Machine discography



As per MOS:DISCOGSECTION ↗: "The discography section of the musician's primary article should also provide a summary of the musician's major works. In most cases this is done using a simple list of their studio albums, leaving a complete listing of releases to the discography article... Live and compilation albums, EPs, singles, etc. should generally not be included." Eight Miles High



I always thought that Small Faces are intended as the reference in the Byrds' Eight Miles High. They are flying into London, and then this verse:

Nowhere is there warmth to be found
Among those afraid of losing their ground
Rain gray town, known for its sound
In places, small faces unbound.

:I think i've read somewhere McGuinn or Crosby or Clark have said that the "small faces" is indeed a reference to the band. If I can find a good reference or a direct quote from one of them i'll add it. Tbf62 (talk) 01:34, 3 June 2026 (UTC)
