Disambiguation link notification for June 20

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited 1946 Yugoslav Constitution ↗, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Pluralism ↗ ([//dispenser.info.tm/~dispenser/cgi-bin/dablinks.py/1946_Yugoslav_Constitution check to confirm]&nbsp;|&nbsp;[//dispenser.info.tm/~dispenser/cgi-bin/dab_solver.py/1946_Yugoslav_Constitution?client=notify fix with Dab solver]). English varieties

Hello Professor. With regards to your edits at 1977 Zairean parliamentary election ↗ changing the British English spelling of sceptical and scrutinised, please be aware that under the WP:ENGVAR ↗ and WP:RETAIN ↗ guidelines, the variety of English used in articles like this should not be changed. Deletion discussion about Hexacameralism ↗

Hello, The Professor (Time Lord), and welcome to Wikipedia. I edit here too, under the username Meatsgains, and I thank you for your contributions.

I wanted to let you know, however, that I've started a discussion about whether an article that you created, Hexacameralism ↗, should be deleted, as I am not sure that it is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia in its current form. Your comments are welcome at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Hexacameralism ↗.

You might like to note that such discussions ↗ usually run for seven days and are ''not'' ballot-polls. And, our guide ↗ about effectively contributing to such discussions is worth a read. Last but not least, you are highly encouraged to continue improving the article; just be sure not to remove the tag about the deletion nomination from the top.

If you have any questions, please leave a comment here and prepend it with <code><nowiki>{{Re|</nowiki>Meatsgains<nowiki>}}</nowiki></code>. And, don't forget to sign your reply with <code><nowiki>~~~~</nowiki></code> . Thanks!

Molybdenum silicide

Hi, Lord Professor! I see that you added "Molybdenum(VIII) silicide" ↗ back in 2019 as an alternate name for molybdenum silicide ↗. Do you recall where you saw that name used? Thanks, Bernanke&#39;s Crossbow (talk) 14:23, 13 May 2025 (UTC)

:IUPAC naming standards dictate that the name of an ionic compound is formed by attaching the oxidation state of the cation to its name and placing the name of the anion after that. Since the oxidation state of silicon is -4, and this compound contains 2 silicon atoms and a single molybdenum atom, the oxidation state must be +8, so molybdenum(VIII) silicon is correct. It's like how the compound FeO is named iron(II) oxide, but Fe2O3 is named iron(III) oxide. (The Professor (Time Lord) (talk) 07:25, 21 May 2025 (UTC))
