30px|link=|alt=Control copyright icon ↗ Hello TheUltimateGrass! Your additions to :Draft:Stellar encounter ↗ have been removed in whole or in part, as they appear to have added copyrighted ↗ content without evidence that the source material is in the public domain ↗ or has been released by its owner or legal agent under a suitably free and compatible ↗ copyright license. (''To request such a release, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission ↗''.) While we appreciate your contributions to Wikipedia, it's important to understand and adhere to guidelines about using information from sources to prevent copyright ↗ and plagiarism ↗ issues. Here are the key points:
- '''Limited quotation:''' You may only copy or translate a ''small'' portion of a source. Any direct quotations ↗ must be enclosed in double quotation mark ↗s (") and properly cited using an inline citation ↗. More information is available on the non-free content page ↗. To learn how to cite a source, see Help:Referencing for beginners ↗.
- '''Paraphrasing:''' Beyond limited quotations, you are required to put all information ''in your own words''. Following the source's wording too closely can lead to copyright issues ↗ and is not permitted; see Wikipedia:Close paraphrasing ↗. Even when paraphrasing, you must still cite your sources ↗ as appropriate.
- '''Image use guidelines:''' In most scenarios, only freely licensed ↗ or public domain ↗ images may be used and these should be uploaded to our sister project, Wikimedia Commons ↗. In some scenarios, non-freely copyrighted content can be used if they meet all ten of our non-free content criteria ↗; Wikipedia:Plain and simple non-free content guide ↗ may help with determining a file's eligibility.
- '''Copyrighted material donation:''' If ''you'' hold the copyright to the content you want to copy, or are a legally designated agent, you ''may'' be able to license the text for publication here. Please see Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials ↗.
- '''Copying and translation within Wikipedia:''' Wikipedia articles can be copied or translated, however they must have proper attribution in accordance with Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia ↗. For translation, see {{section link|Help:Translation|Licensing}}.
HH 30 distance
Hi TheUltimateGrass, I came across your edit to the HH 30 article where you added the distance of 146.4 parsecs. I’ve been trying to find a source that gives this exact value, but most published references I’ve found list a broader range for the Taurus Molecular Cloud (around 130–160 pc). Could you let me know where that specific measurement came from? I’d appreciate any source or reference you used. Thank you. Desmondhwong (talk) 14:09, 11 April 2025 (UTC)
:I got the number from the infobox of the HH 30 page. There is a citation next to it which is here —> https://arxiv.org/pdf/2412.07523 TheUltimateGrass (talk) 14:14, 11 April 2025 (UTC)

25px|alt=Information icon ↗ Hi TheUltimateGrass! I noticed that you recently made an edit and marked it as "minor", but it may not have been. "Minor edit ↗" has a specific definition on Wikipedia: it refers only to superficial edits that could never be the subject of a dispute, such as typo corrections ↗ or reverting obvious vandalism ↗. Any edit that changes the <em>meaning</em> of an article is not a minor edit, even if it only concerns a single word. Thank you. <!-- Template:uw-minor --> Kj cheetham (talk) 10:47, 30 May 2025 (UTC)
Solar System uppercased per Wikipedia style
Hello, and I've edited one of your articles (thanks for the page!). Please be aware that 'Solar System' is a proper name and capitalized on Wikipedia (as are Sun, Moon, Earth, etc.). Thanks! Randy Kryn (talk) 22:53, 19 June 2025 (UTC)
Short descriptions
You recently edited the short description of List of ring galaxies ↗ to "List of ring galaxies". A short description that matches the article title is not helpful; in cases where the title is sufficiently descriptive on its own, the thing to do is use "none" as the short description. For further guidelines, see WP:SDESC ↗. — <span style="font-family:'Palatino Linotype';color:Blue;font-weight:bold;font-variant-caps:small-caps;font-size:120%;">LucasBrown</span> 22:18, 12 July 2025 (UTC)
Disambiguation in titles
An article title only needs to include a disambiguator like "(dwarf galaxy)" if there are other topics with the same name. Tucana IV ↗, Grus II ↗ and Cetus III ↗ are unambiguous, so I've moved them. SevenSpheres (talk) 16:58, 29 July 2025 (UTC)

Watch out for AI slop
Hi, two weeks ago you added this (rather inaccurate) AI-generated image of TOI-1338 c ↗ to its article. I have removed it; next time, please make sure to check the image info before adding it. We don't want AI slop on Wikipedia (please read the AI/LLM policy ↗ too). <span style="font-size:103%; color: #528a2d">'''Nrco0e'''</span> <span style="font-size:85%">(talk • contribs ↗)</span> 03:23, 7 June 2026 (UTC)
:Sorry my fault, I somehow missed the big red warning on the file. I’ll be sure to check for warnings and double check the image before adding them to a page. Also sorry for the late response I was away for a while. :) TheUltimateGrass (talk) 05:56, 15 June 2026 (UTC)
