Overstubbed
:I could not think of a better way to type it but all I mean by over stubbed is there is a hierarchy, if an item falls in a subcategory for example of Ireland you do not not stub it both as an Ireland topic and an "Ireland structure" topic at the same time. The more specific category is listed in the larger categories... that's all I mean, and I wish you very well in your work here. Goldenrowley 23:35, 21 January 2007 (UTC)
::Hi again, I took specific look at your article "György Kepes" you refer to see what I was thinking on that item in particular and think it is a bio article about an artist. the artist stubs are the correct stub when it is an artist, not "art history". I removed the "art history stub" because that section does no cover all the artists in history, rather it covers periods of art. Design I think is for designed things, not for designers... isn't it? I sometimes make mistakes butin this case I think we've got it categorized correctly with 3 stubs. Goldenrowley 06:32, 22 January 2007 (UTC)

Speedy deletion ↗ nomination of :Generativity (technology) ↗
48px|left|alt=|link= ↗
{{Quote box|quote=<p>If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article ↗.</p><p>You may want to consider using the Article Wizard ↗ to help you create articles.</p>|width=20%|align=right}}
A tag has been placed on :Generativity (technology) ↗ requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G15 of the criteria for speedy deletion ↗, because it exhibits one or more of the following signs which indicate that the page could only plausibly have been generated by large language model ↗s (an "AI chatbot ↗" or other application using such technology) and would have been removed by any ''reasonable human review'':
- '''Communication intended for the user''': This may include collaborative communication (e.g., "Here is your Wikipedia article on..."), knowledge-cutoff disclaimers (e.g., "Up to my last training update ..."), self-insertion (e.g., "as a large language model"), and phrasal templates (e.g., "Smith was born on [Birth Date].")
- '''Implausible non-existent references''': This may include external links that are dead ↗ on arrival, ISBN ↗s with invalid checksum ↗s, and unresolvable DOI ↗s. Since humans can make typos and links may suffer from link rot ↗, a single example should not be considered definitive. Editors should use additional methods to verify whether a reference truly does not exist.
- '''Nonsensical citations''': This may include citations of incorrect temporality (e.g a source from 2020 being cited for a 2022 event), DOIs that resolve to completely unrelated content (e.g., a paper on a beetle species being cited for a computer science article), and citations that attribute the wrong author or publication.
If you think these signs were incorrectly identified and you assert that you did carefully check the content, you may '''contest the nomination''' by visiting the page ↗ and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines ↗. Additionally – if you would like to create an article but find creating new encyclopedia content yourself difficult, please share this with other editors at the Teahouse ↗, and they may be able to help. Try not to be discouraged. Wikipedia looks forward to your legitimate contributions.<!-- Template:Db-llm-notice --> <!-- Template:Db-csd-notice-custom --> Significa liberdade <small>(she/her)</small> (talk) 06:41, 1 September 2025 (UTC)

:Here is an explanation of what I was trying to do in (manually) creating this page: the situation was that Generativity ↗ contained information on two unrelated meanings of the term.
:This was an unsatisfactory conflation of mismatched material. Let me stress that I did this manually and no LLMs were involved. (As far as copying is concerned, all of the content of the new page is certainly copied from the old page, and I will attempt to address that with appropriate tags).

25px|alt=Information icon ↗ Thank you for your contributions ↗ to Wikipedia. It appears that you copied or moved content from :Generativity ↗ into :Generativity (technology) ↗. While you are welcome to re-use Wikipedia's content (here or elsewhere), Wikipedia's licensing ↗ does require that you provide attribution to the original contributor(s). When copying within Wikipedia, this is supplied at minimum in an edit summary ↗ at the page into which you've copied content, disclosing the copying and linking ↗ to the copied page, e.g., <code>copied content from <nowiki>page name ↗</nowiki>; see that page's history for attribution</code>. It is good practice, especially if copying is extensive, to also place a properly formatted {{tl|copied}} template on the talk pages of the source and destination. Please provide attribution for this duplication if it has not already been supplied by another editor, and if you have copied material between pages before, even if it was a long time ago, you should provide attribution for that also. You can read more about the procedure and the reasons at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia ↗.
