25px|alt=Information icon ↗ WP:VERIFY ↗ says: "All material in Wikipedia mainspace ↗, including everything in articles, lists, and captions, must be verifiable." The concept is that the citations ↗ go next to the statements they support. With the article on :Sanjeev Sanyal‎ ↗, your edit moved the text around so that that was not true any more, which meant that some of the statements were no longer verifiable ↗. So I have reverted your edit.

It is worth adding that a great deal of care has been taken with some Wikipedia articles such as :Sanjeev Sanyal‎ ↗ to make sure that statements are both accurate and verifiable.<span style="font-family:Monotype Corsiva;font-size:10pt;color:#000000">-- Toddy1 (talk)</span> 09:45, 23 July 2024 (UTC)
