Wikipedia:Spanish Translation of the Week ↗
I would like to revive this project. I noticed that you've added yourself to the list of available Spanish-to-English translators. Are you interested in working on Spanish Translation of the Week? — J3ff 06:26, 21 Feb 2005 (UTC)
:Wikipedians vote to choose an article to be translated each week, similar to COTW ↗. After an article is picked to be translated, the text from the Spanish Wikipedia is copied into the English Wikipedia article (a new article is created if one doesn't already exist in the English Wikipedia). A heading is put at the top of the article, stating that it is the Spanish Translation of the Week. Toward the bottom of the article, under a section titled "References", the Spanish Wikipedia article is cited as a source. The English Wikipedia article with Spanish text is then edited as people translate it into English. Feel free to ask my anymore questions. — J3ff 03:49, 23 Feb 2005 (UTC)
This week's Spanish translation is Hispania ↗. Please help with the article. Thanks — J3ff 07:04, 28 Feb 2005 (UTC)

CREB
Hola Ché, I like your additions to excitotoxicity, but the phrase: ''hypoxic/ischemic conditions, activate a dominant CREB shut-off'' is a bit confusing. What is a dominant CREB shut-off? Does this means they turn off CREB activation, or did you mean activate a dminant-negative mechanism which shuts off CREB? Please clarify, and also add a link to the ref. |-
|style="color:#000"|As you've no doubt noticed, there's a new Molecular and Cellular Biology Wikiproject newsletter, which will be sent out about once a month to all WP:MCB members. This newsletter is designed to perform two equally important functions. Firstly (and obviously, perhaps) it will serve to inform the members of the MCB project of such things as important discussions, votes, and article improvement drives. Secondly, and perhaps more importantly, the periodic correspondance will hopefully encourage a greater level of participation from the MCB community by acting as a gentle reminder of many of the the interesting tasks that are awaiting completion. If you prefer to receive this newsletter in the form of a link, or not receive it at all, you can add your name at Wikipedia:WikiProject Molecular and Cellular Biology/Newsletter/Opt Out List ↗.

|-
| Have any pet MCB subjects that you think need attention? Have you been longing to be part of a team of like-minded editors working toward a common goal? If so, the MCB Article Improvement Drive ↗ is for you! On the first of every month a new article is selected by the MCB with the goal of promoting it to good article status ↗. Make your nominations and cast your votes now, because the first article will be chosen on September 1!

|style="color:#000"|In an effort to organize and motivate the MCB activities, it has recently been proposed that a member of the MCB project take the role of "director", who would be responsible for the administrative side of the MCB project, including but not limited to coordinating recruiting efforts, spamming the newsletter, and maintaining the Article Improvement Drive and MCB Portal. A special discussion/vote ↗ page has been created for this proposal, and the vote will run until 23:59, 10 September 2006 (UTC), unless the community decides otherwise.

Orphaned non-free media (Image:Tributo a Queen - Los Grandes del Rock en Español.jpg)
25px ↗ Thanks for uploading ''':Image:Tributo a Queen - Los Grandes del Rock en Español.jpg ↗'''. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use ↗. However, it is currently orphaned ↗, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back ↗ if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media ↗).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions ↗" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any '''articles''' will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion ↗. This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of :Jeremías Pies de Plomo ↗, and it appears to be very similar to another wikipedia page: :Jeremías Pies de Plomo (album) ↗. It is possible that you have accidentally duplicated contents, or made an error while creating the page— you might want to look at the pages and see if that is the case.
This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on the maintainer's talk page. CorenSearchBot (talk) 21:39, 20 April 2008 (UTC)

Article upgrade assistance request (Pre-translation stage)
Seasons Greetings,
This is in reference to a relatively new umbrella article on en-wikipedia named Ceremonial pole ↗. Ceremonial pole ↗ is a human tradition since ancient times; either existed in past at some point of time, or still exists in some cultures across global continents from north to south & from east to west. Ceremonial poles ↗ are used to symbolize a variety of concepts in several different world cultures.
Through article Ceremonial pole ↗ we intend to take encyclopedic note of cultural aspects and festive celebrations around Ceremonial pole ↗ as an umbrella article and want to have historical, mythological, anthropological aspects, reverence or worships wherever concerned as a small part.
While Ceremonial poles ↗ have a long past and strong presence but usually less discussed subject. Even before we seek translation of this article in global languages, we need to have more encyclopedic information/input about Ceremonial poles ↗ from all global cultures and languages. And we seek your assistance in the same.
Since other contributors to the article are insisting for reliable sources ↗ and Standard native english; If your contributions get deleted (for some reason like linguistics or may be your information is reliable but unfortunately dosent match expectations of other editors) , please do list the same on Talk:Ceremonial pole ↗ page so that other wikipedians may help improve by interlanguage collaborations, and/or some other language wikipedias may be interested in giving more importance to reliablity of information over other factors on their respective wikipedia.
This particular request is being made to you since your user name is listed in Wikipedia:Translators available ↗ list.
Thanking you with warm regards
