Please don't change quoted text

Hello, thanks for your edits, but please don't change quoted text to conform with your idea of good grammar, as you did at Clarke Peters β†—, where you changed "more angry" to "angrier" despite the source β†— containing the former term. I agree with everyone above that you should use edit summaries as well. Graham87 (talk) 15:07, 1 February 2025 (UTC)

Hello, I see on your talk page that you have had a multitude of requests to add edit summaries (WP:ES β†—) to your edits. This is considered a basic courtesy to make life easier for other editors, and it's surprising that someone with as many edits as you continues not to heed this very basic Wikipedia principle or the messages requesting your attention to it. I will join the others in asking you once again to review the above link and summarize your work going forward. Rift (talk) 03:04, 17 May 2025 (UTC)

25px|alt=Information icon β†— Hello. Thank you for your contributions β†— to Wikipedia β†—. I noticed that your recent edit to :Raymond Cruz β†— did not have an edit summary β†—. Collaboration among editors is fundamental to Wikipedia, and every edit should be explained by a clear edit summary β†—, or by discussion on the talk page β†—. Please use the edit summary field to explain your reasoning for an edit and/or to describe what it changes. Summaries save time for other editors and reduce the chances that your edit will be misunderstood. For some edits, an adequate summary may be quite brief β†—.

Please stop introducing commas where they are not needed on the Wodehouse article. These are not necessary in BrEng and the article is consistent in not using them.
