:the sources are literally under each of the Academy Awards pages. He is also a very known director of the Academy Awards for over a decade and all the awards directing is mentioned on imdb as well under his page. But on wiki his name is already under each ceremony page under "directed by" Valiant Duke (talk) 21:03, 24 January 2026 (UTC)

:A correction. After my post above I read MOS:OVERLINK ↗ and was surprised to find that individual U.S. states weren't mentioned. I added it and was reverted, and have now opened a discussion on its talk page. Since I've been around Wikipedia I've seen editors remove links to state names saying they were an overlink, so assumed it was official, but it isn't. Thanks.
