Disambiguation link notification for June 10
Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Robin Chan (businessman) ↗, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page JP ↗<!-- ([//dispenser.info.tm/~dispenser/cgi-bin/dablinks.py/Robin_Chan_%28businessman%29 check to confirm] | [//dispenser.info.tm/~dispenser/cgi-bin/dab_solver.py/Robin_Chan_%28businessman%29?client=notify fix with Dab solver])-->. Such links are usually incorrect ↗, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. <small>(Read the FAQ{{*}} Join us at the DPL WikiProject ↗.)</small>
It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 06:02, 10 June 2021 (UTC)

Wikipedia and copyright
30px|link=|alt=Control copyright icon ↗ Hello Wellyboynz! Your additions to :Mark Cooper (judge) ↗ have been removed in whole or in part, as they appear to have added copyrighted content without evidence that the source material is in the public domain ↗ or has been released by its owner or legal agent under a suitably-free and compatible ↗ copyright license. (''To request such a release, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission ↗''.) While we appreciate your contributions to Wikipedia, there are certain things you must keep in mind about using information from sources to avoid copyright ↗ and plagiarism ↗ issues.
- You can only copy/translate a ''small'' amount of a source, and you must mark what you take as a direct quotation with double quotation mark ↗s (") and cite the source using an inline citation ↗. You can read about this at Wikipedia:Non-free content ↗ in the sections on "text". See also Help:Referencing for beginners ↗, for how to cite sources here.
- Aside from limited quotation, you must put all information ''in your own words and structure'', in proper paraphrase ↗. Following the source's words too closely can create copyright problems ↗, so it is not permitted here; see Wikipedia:Close paraphrasing ↗. Even when using your own words, you are still, however, asked to cite your sources to verify ↗ the information and to demonstrate that the content is not original research ↗.
- We have strict guidelines on the usage of copyrighted images. Fair use ↗ images must meet all ten of the non-free content criteria ↗ in order to be used in articles, or they will be deleted. To be used on Wikipedia, all other images must be made available under a free and open copyright license that allows commercial and derivative reuse.
- If ''you'' own the copyright to the source you want to copy or are a legally designated agent, you ''may'' be able to license that text so that we can publish it here. Understand, though, that unlike many other sites, where a person can license their content for use there and retain non-free ownership, that is not possible at Wikipedia. Rather, the release of content must be irrevocable, ''to the world'', into either the public domain ↗ (PD) or under a suitably-free and compatible ↗ copyright license. Such a release must be done in a verifiable manner, so that the authority of the person purporting to release the copyright is evidenced. See Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials ↗.
- Also note that Wikipedia articles may not be copied or translated without attribution. If you want to copy or translate from another Wikipedia project or article, you must follow the copyright attribution steps described at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia ↗. See also Help:Translation#License requirements ↗.
It's very important that contributors understand and follow these practices, as policy requires that people who persistently do not must be blocked ↗ from editing. If you have any questions about this, you are welcome to leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. <!-- Template:uw-copyright-new --> Moneytrees🏝️Talk 10:58, 22 April 2022 (UTC)
Ways to improve Mark Cooper (judge)
Hello, Wellyboynz,
Thank you for creating Mark Cooper (judge) ↗.
I have tagged the page ↗ as having some issues to fix, as a part of our page curation process ↗ and note that:
{{Quote|1=This judge will take up President of Court of Appeal. This is a good appointment. However, this article is about a living person and needs to meet notability requirements for Biography. <br/>
What is needed are references from significant coverage about this person, and independent of it, in multiple secondary sources which are WP:RS ↗; that is your guide. You may also read WP:PRIMARY ↗ which details the limited permitted usage of primary sources. A more comprehensive guide is WP:SOURCES ↗ ... Providing sufficient references, ideally one per fact referred to, that meet these tough criteria is likely to allow this article to remain. Lack of them or an inability to find them is likely to mean that the topic is not suitable for inclusion. Kindly do the needful. Thank you.}}
The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, leave a comment here and begin it with <code><nowiki>{{Re|</nowiki>Whiteguru<nowiki>}}</nowiki></code>. Remember to sign your reply with <code><nowiki>~~~~</nowiki></code>. For broader editing help, please visit the Teahouse ↗.

Sarina Wiegman DBE
Your reversion of my edit at 2025 Special Honours ↗ has, correctly, been reverted by another editor. The citation that you provided for her inclusion in the wrong article does not even mention her. It is clear in https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/crrkgzy52keo, considered reliable by Wikipedia standards, that she is to be included in the 2026 New Year Honours, and, more to the point, it is even clearer in https://www.gov.uk/government/news/outstanding-contributions-to-the-uk-recognised-in-his-majesty-the-kings-new-year-2026-overseas-and-international-honours-list. I should, therefore, be grateful if you were to check your facts before reverting edits, and generally be more careful, as user OGBC1992 also pointed out that you had unnecessarily removed other content. ZeroAlpha87 (talk) 12:56, 6 January 2026 (UTC)
:@ZeroAlpha87 @OGBC1992. I'm not sure what the issues is. Yes her Damehood was announced as part of the wider 2026 New Years Honours as you stated. But her award is not part of the official gazatted 2026 New Years Honours List of Dames (DBEs) https://www.thegazette.co.uk/London/issue/64940/supplement/N1 (Page N8) ''this is also the reason why I removed Sarah Anderson from the 2025 Special Honours as she now officially listed under 2026 New Years Honours List''. As stated in https://www.gov.uk/government/news/outstanding-contributions-to-the-uk-recognised-in-his-majesty-the-kings-new-year-2026-overseas-and-international-honours-list Sarina Wiegman is recognised with an '''honorary Damehood''' (honorary awards to foreign nationals are the responsibility of the Foreign Secretary). Her Damehood is therefore listed under https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/honorary-british-awards-to-foreign-nationals-2025/honorary-awards-to-foreign-nationals-in-2025 so should be included in the 2025 Special Honours ↗.
