:Hello, I understand the confusion, but I was following the instrumentation listing for the band members. Brad Delson played bass while recording Hybrid Theory due to the absence of Phoenix, while Chester is listed as playing occasional rhythm guitar from 2006 until his death in 2017. I used the "occasional rhythm guitar" color from Alice in Chain's timeline. Sorry if there was any confusion, but I don't believe my edits were disruptive. Ye9CYNMD (talk) 15:50, 5 August 2022 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Call Me (Shinedown song)

Hello Ye9CYNMD,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Call Me (Shinedown song) ↗ for deletion, because the article doesn't clearly indicate why the subject is important enough to be included in an encyclopedia.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can <span class="plainlinks">'''Me (Shinedown song)}}&action=edit&section=new&preload=Template:Hangon_preload&preloadtitle=This+page+should+not+be+speedy+deleted+because...+ contest this deletion ↗'''</span>, but don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page ↗ if you have questions. Thanks!

Speedy deletion ↗ nomination of :FurAffinity ↗

A tag has been placed on :FurAffinity ↗ requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion ↗, because the page appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion discussion ↗, such as at Articles for deletion ↗. When a page has substantially identical content to that of a page deleted after a discussion, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may '''contest the nomination''' by visiting the page ↗ and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines ↗. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the {{Querylink|Special:Log|qs=type=delete&page=FurAffinity|deleting administrator}}, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here ↗. <!-- Template:Db-repost-notice --> <span class="nowrap" style="font-family:copperplate gothic light;"><span style="color:#345">Chris Troutman</span> (<span style="color:#345">talk</span>)</span> 21:18, 15 December 2023 (UTC)

Introduction to contentious topics

{{ivmbox | image = Commons-emblem-notice.svg |imagesize=50px | bg = #E5F8FF | text = You have recently edited a page related to '''post-1992 politics of the United States and closely related people''', a topic designated as '''contentious ↗'''. This is a brief introduction to contentious topics and <em>does <strong>not</strong> imply that there are any issues with your editing</em>.

A special set of rules applies to certain topic areas, which are referred to as ''contentious topics''. These are specially designated topics that tend to attract more persistent disruptive editing than the rest of the project and have been designated as contentious topics by the Arbitration Committee. When editing a contentious topic, Wikipedia’s norms and policies are more strictly enforced, and Wikipedia administrators have special powers in order to reduce disruption to the project.

Within contentious topics, editors should edit <strong>carefully</strong> and <strong>constructively</strong>, refrain from disrupting the encyclopedia, and:

<p>Editors are advised to err on the side of caution if unsure whether making a particular edit is consistent with these expectations. If you have any questions about contentious topics ''procedures'' you may ask them at the arbitration clerks' noticeboard ↗ or you may learn more about this contentious topic here ↗. You may also choose to note which contentious topics you know about by using the {{tl|Ctopics/aware}} template. </p>}}<!-- Derived from Template:Contentious topics/alert/first --> — <span style="color: #660000">Red-tailed&nbsp;hawk</span>&nbsp;<span style="color: #660000">(nest)</span> 00:45, 26 January 2024 (UTC)

Note: Turkey is not authoritarian

As a person who lives in Turkey, that’s the stupidest thing I read. Turkey isn’t authoritarian, it acts like one, but it isn’t! The opposition literally won the 2024 local elections. It’s like Hungary. Rigged elections, but not in the same level as an ACTUAL authoritarian country. It’s more of a hybrid country. I request it gets changed back. Also, all sources are from 2016-18, before the 2024 election. At least the opposition has a chance of winning! Sorry for plastering this everywhere, but it’s the truth!
