Flag of South Vietnam ↗
There was no the State of Vietnam ↗ or Republic of Vietnam ↗ in 1948, so information at the beginning of this article is wrong. I suggest adding the Provisional Central Government of Vietnam ↗ (1948-49) because it also used this flag and was predecessor of the State of Vietnam. 171.244.121.69 ↗ (talk) 13:11, 28 April 2025 (UTC)
Resident evil events
Hi! Maybe you can help us with this pointless debate? At the moment the article has a compromise version, but after you added "mainline" again, the question came up again. Do you have any authoritative sources that consider RE0 part of the main series? If not, then I will have to either remove this word or put "not in source" in order to be consistent after the same information I added was removed as original research. Solaire the knight (talk) 12:55, 9 June 2025 (UTC)
:Well I added that as there have been multiple spin off games since Resident Evil 0 featuring Raccoon City (Darkside Chronicles ↗, Operation Raccoon City ↗, etc) so the sentence doesn't make much sense if we are only counting main games and not spin off titles. Yeoutie (talk) 13:09, 9 June 2025 (UTC)
:: Ah, sorry, I was hasty. The original phrase was more accurate, but it led to me arguing with one user who thought ALL canon games were the main series, while another called it original research and I had to find sources that between 3 and 9 the events took place in other places. In the end we just came to a compromise to describe just the original games. In that case, would you mind if I just replace mainline with the original game? I mean, not a remake or a remaster, since over the past 10 years we've had over 5 games remastered and it seems like we'll get more soon. Solaire the knight (talk) 13:12, 9 June 2025 (UTC)
Red Sea crisis
There's already a separate article for Houthi attack on civilian ships called Houthi attacks on commercial vessels ↗.
Please don't add the attacks on civlian ships to Timeline of the Red Sea crisis ↗, it's only for military attacks between various sides. Linkin Prankster (talk) 07:37, 9 July 2025 (UTC)
:The scope of the article itself seems to disagree with you. I've replied on the talk page. Yeoutie (talk) 14:26, 9 July 2025 (UTC)
South Vietnam ↗
Hi, can you help me? In this article, I hope you correct the founding year of South Vietnam to 1949 in the short description and infobox, because South Vietnam included the State of Vietnam ↗ period while the State of Vietnam was founded in 1949. Thanks! 2402:800:F831:60AC:84C7:16C3:E0DD:A8D5 ↗ (talk) 12:57, 6 August 2025 (UTC)
:Hello. You seem to constantly want this changed. Please stop posting this because it is clearly incorrect. Goodbye. Yeoutie (talk) 18:56, 6 August 2025 (UTC)
Hi
I see there are two small typos in the first paragraph and third paragraph of this section ↗: Indochinese Federation but not Indochina Federation (first paragraph), government but not governement (third paragraph).
I hope you change "On June 3, 1946, Thinh and the French commissioner south of the 16th parallel of Indochina, Cédille, signed a preliminary treaty recognizing Cochinchina as a free state within the Indochina Federation and the French Union." to "On June 3, 1946, Thinh and the French commissioner south of the 16th parallel of Indochina, Cédille, signed a preliminary treaty recognizing Cochinchina as a free state within the Indochinese Federation and the French Union." (first paragraph)
Hope you also change "French request directly led to the war when the Viet Minh attacked the French in Hanoi on the evening of December 19 and its governement withdrew from Hanoi." to "French request directly led to the war when the Viet Minh attacked the French in Hanoi on the evening of December 19 and its government withdrew from Hanoi." (third paragraph)
Thanks🙂! 222.252.51.61 ↗ (talk) 14:36, 15 October 2025 (UTC)
