Dunning–Kruger effect ↗

Hi, Zephalis. I was baffled by your edit summary here ↗. The cartoon you restored mention of doesn't have a caption at all, which is probably the reason it was removed to begin with. If there is a version that does mention the Dunning–Kruger effect, please link to that instead. Bishonen | talk 14:44, 6 May 2018 (UTC).
:Hey, Bishonen. I see where the confusion is. XKCD captions are in the html ALT text that appears when you hover over the image of the comic. The original removal edit summary was "remove xkcd spam" which is erroneous as it is not spam and is a valid pop culture reference (so much so as that that comic was how I found out about the Dunning-Kruger effect in the first place). It seems that the original editor who removed it has specifically removed xkcd from 28 articles, which may show bias (though I haven't looked into the other pages to see if the reasons are valid).
:Maybe it would have been better listed as [bold only to note changes]:
:Xkcd comic #1954, "Impostor Syndrome",[21] '''states''' "It's actually worst in people who study the Dunning–Kruger effect. We tried to organize a conference on it, but the only people who would agree to give the keynote were random undergrads." '''in its ALT text ↗ caption.''' Zephalis (talk) 15:19, 6 May 2018 (UTC)
::Yes, that would help, feel free to change it. Bishonen | talk 17:54, 6 May 2018 (UTC).
