Redirects

I recommend using the source editor to create redirect pages rather than the visual editor. See Help:Redirect ↗ for some more information. Thanks. Deauthorized. (talk ↗) 18:51, 30 September 2023 (UTC)

:Yes, that makes sense, haha. Ill try to fix it now.
:Thanks! Zoozoor (talk) 19:13, 30 September 2023 (UTC)
:It seems you have already fixed it. I appreciate the help :). Zoozoor (talk) 19:17, 30 September 2023 (UTC)

Your edit on Dendrocnide moroides ↗

Hello Zoozoor. I reverted your recent edit on this article because there are no records that I can find of this species in New Guinea. In your edit summary you said that "the article's sources" claim that it does occur there, but I can't recall any of those sources saying that. Could you clarify which of them includes New Guinea in its distribution? Cheers, Steve Junglenut |Talk 21:32, 28 July 2024 (UTC)

:Hey,
:Thanks for the correction. I misread the introduction as stating where the family of plants is found, rather than the species.
:Cheers, Zoozoor (talk) 21:31, 29 July 2024 (UTC)

Disambiguation link notification for February 14

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Myriam Fares ↗, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Assyrian language ↗. Such links are usually incorrect ↗, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ{{*}} Join us at the DPL WikiProject ↗.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, --DPL bot (talk) 07:57, 14 February 2025 (UTC)

Introduction to contentious topics

{{ivmbox | image = Commons-emblem-notice.svg |imagesize=50px | bg = #E5F8FF | text = You have recently edited a page related to '''the region of South Asia ↗ (India, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Nepal), broadly construed, including but not limited to history, politics, ethnicity, and social groups''', a topic designated as '''''contentious ↗'''''. This is a brief introduction to contentious topics and does not imply that there are any issues with your editing.

A special set of rules applies to certain topic areas, which are referred to as ''contentious topics''. These are specially designated topics that tend to attract more persistent disruptive editing than the rest of the project and have been designated as contentious topics by the Arbitration Committee ↗. When editing a contentious topic, Wikipedia's norms and policies are more strictly enforced, and Wikipedia administrators ↗ have an expanded level of powers and discretion in order to reduce disruption to the project.

Within contentious topics, editors should edit carefully and constructively, refrain from disrupting the encyclopedia, and:

Additionally, you must be logged in, have 500 edits, and have an account age of 30 days ↗ in order to make edits related to two subtopics: (1) Indian military history, or (2) social groups, explicitly including caste associations and political parties related to India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Nepal.

Editors are advised to err on the side of caution if unsure whether making a particular edit is consistent with these expectations. If you have any questions about contentious topics procedures, you may ask them at the arbitration clerks' noticeboard ↗ or you may learn more about this contentious topic ↗. You may also choose to note which contentious topics you know about by using the {{tl|Ctopics/aware}} template.
}} '''Jay8g''' [<nowiki />VTE ↗<nowiki />] 08:59, 11 November 2025 (UTC)
