Armenian language
Of course this business with "Eastern dialect" is nonsense, but to plug the hole you may want to add a note in the Infobox with the explicit reference to the language article in the Constitution. We already have such a note in connection with "Presidential republic". Now add one more for official language. It will be proudly displayed as note [1]. I had to follow this course in Tajikistan ↗ to stop persistent vandalism from Farsi-oriented editors. Good luck. --Zlerman (talk) 08:42, 14 November 2008 (UTC)
:I added the note. Thanks for the suggestion. --Սահակ/Sahak (talk) 09:03, 14 November 2008 (UTC)

Standard Ebooks links
Hi! I see that you added a link to Standard Ebooks ↗ to A Sicilian Romance ↗. Thanks for doing so; in the future, can you please use Template:StandardEbooks ↗? It will allow us to better keep track of where in Wiki there are links and potentially change the phrasing of the link if necessary. <span style="color:Black;">'''Smith'''</span><span style="color:Black; font-size:50%">(talk)</span> 08:11, 29 July 2021 (UTC)

Username
Hi, I just wanted to make a quick comment about your username. As per Wikipedia:Username policy ↗, a non-Latin username is allowed, but can be problematic. From Wikipedia:Signatures ↗;
{{Quote box
|title= Non-Latin Signatures ↗
|bgcolor = #EFF8FB
|quote= {{color|maroon|Editors with non-Latin usernames are welcome to edit in Wikipedia. However, non-Latin scripts, such as Arabic, Armenian, Chinese, Cyrillic, Greek, Hebrew, Indic scripts, Japanese, Korean, Persian, Thai and others, are illegible to most other contributors of the English Wikipedia. Not everyone uses a keyboard that has immediate access to non-Latin characters, and names that cannot be pronounced cannot be retained in memory. As a courtesy to the rest of the contributors, users with such usernames are encouraged to sign their posts (at least in part) with Latin characters. For an example refer to User:Παράδειγμα, who signs his posts as Παράδειγμα/Paradigma.}}
}}
I understand your username is apparently Armenian ↗, and (roughly) translates to
"{{tq|Sahak}}". I'm not sure what the significance of that is to you, but if you would consider adding that, or another Latinized name or word ↗ to your signature, it would make interacting with you a great deal easier for your fellow editors. To attach a Latinized word or name to your signature, just go to "Preferences ↗", and on the first page, under "User Profile", scroll down to "Signatures". There you will see a text box where you can customize your signature to your liking (you will notice a large number of unique, colorful and creative signatures among the various talk pages throughout Wikipedia) and you will be able to modify your signature with an add-on in Latin script that will help others identify you and communicate with you. I hope this helps, and happy editing!. - ''<span style="color: black">wolf</span>'' 11:38, 29 July 2021 (UTC)

Armenian replacements
You do seem to have replaced "Western Armenian" with "Armenian" in various articles. Maybe it makes sense in some contexts, but there's at least one where that's not the case https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Languages_of_Bulgaria&curid=31960042&diff=1045541375&oldid=1008873733 ↗. If an article's source has specified it's Western Armenian, and if the editor who contributed that content has kept that, then replacing this term with something less specific won't usually be constructive. – Uanfala (talk) 21:47, 21 September 2021 (UTC)
Standard Ebooks ↗ links
Hi Sahak - thanks for adding links for Standard Ebooks ↗ productions. In the future, can you please do so using Template:StandardEbooks ↗? This helps us better keep track of what places do and do not have links, and means that if the project decides to update the wording of how we want to phrase these links, it can be done all at once. Thanks! <span style="color:Black;">'''Smith'''</span><span style="color:Black; font-size:50%">(talk)</span> 10:03, 18 October 2021 (UTC)

Edit summaries
Greetings and thank you for your editing! I have no problem with the editing you have been doing, but you should leave an edit summary with each edit to inform other editors of what you are doing and why you are doing it. This will avoid confusion and prevent other editors from reverting your edits. You have already been warned about edit summaries twice before (see posts for November 2017 ↗ and April 2018 ↗). Happy editing!—Anita5192 (talk) 06:21, 19 December 2021 (UTC)

https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Moore%E2%80%93Penrose_inverse&diff=1061029280&oldid=1048805043
It would help if you explained your edits. Here, I just wrote this (not just for you): User:RainerBlome/How to write good edit summaries.--RainerBlome (talk) 18:36, 19 December 2021 (UTC)
:Hi RainerBlome, I removed that link because it was not working. -Սահակ/Sahak (talk) 19:37, 19 December 2021 (UTC)
::Ah, thanks for spotting this. I had not noticed that originally there had been ''two'' PlanetMath links, one working and one non-working, and you had removed only the non-working one. Even though there is not much information at the end of the link, I have now added a working version of the removed link. The target is the true equivalent of the Wikipedia article. As such, the new link is better than the other existing one, which points to just "pseudoinverse". --RainerBlome (talk) 22:58, 23 December 2021 (UTC)

Mass editing of Debian GNU/Linux to Linux
Hello! I noticed that you have been mass editing the phrase "Debian GNU/Linux" to "Debian Linux". As indicated on the Debian ↗ page, the distribution is called "Debian" or "Debian GNU/Linux". Furthermore, this is well-cited in Debian's own documentations, such as https://www.debian.org/releases/buster/amd64/ch01s02.en.html and https://web.archive.org/web/20190402174759/https://www.debian.org/doc/manuals/debian-faq/ch-basic_defs.en.html#s-pronunciation. Was there some WP:CON ↗ for these mass edits? Top5a (talk) 10:07, 22 March 2023 (UTC)
Seeing as there is no reply, and that you are continuing edits elsewhere, the changes have been rolled back. Please be sure to not mass edit, especially incorrectly without prior proper source checking, without WP:CON ↗. Cheers Top5a (talk) 08:05, 23 March 2023 (UTC)
:cf. @Роман Рябенко good timing, thank you for also noticing. Happy editing! Top5a (talk) 08:06, 23 March 2023 (UTC)

Introduction to contentious topics
{{ivmbox | image = Commons-emblem-notice.svg |imagesize=50px | bg = #E5F8FF | text = You have recently edited a page related to '''the Balkans or Eastern Europe''', a topic designated as '''''contentious ↗'''''. This is a brief introduction to contentious topics and <em>does <strong>not</strong> imply that there are any issues with your editing</em>.
A special set of rules applies to certain topic areas, which are referred to as ''contentious topics''. These are specially designated topics that tend to attract more persistent disruptive editing than the rest of the project and have been designated as contentious topics by the Arbitration Committee ↗. When editing a contentious topic, Wikipedia’s norms and policies are more strictly enforced, and Wikipedia administrators ↗ have an expanded level of powers and discretion in order to reduce disruption to the project.
Within contentious topics, editors should edit <strong>carefully and constructively</strong>, refrain from disrupting the encyclopedia, and:
- adhere to the purposes of Wikipedia ↗;
- comply with all applicable policies and guidelines ↗;
- follow editorial and behavioural best practices;
- comply with any page restrictions in force within the area of conflict; and
- refrain from gaming the system ↗.
<p>Editors are advised to err on the side of caution if unsure whether making a particular edit is consistent with these expectations. If you have any questions about contentious topics ''procedures'', you may ask them at the arbitration clerks' noticeboard ↗ or you may learn more about this contentious topic here ↗. You may also choose to note which contentious topics you know about by using the {{tl|Ctopics/aware}} template. </p>}}<!-- Derived from Template:Contentious topics/alert/first --> Bogazicili (talk) 18:00, 21 May 2025 (UTC)
Edit summaries and open-access books
First, and most importantly, avoid misleading edit summaries ↗. If you are {{em|replacing}} a book with an open-access (or public domain) alternative, you need to {{em|say so}}, not just claim you are 'adding' a book. Second, books on Project Gutenberg ↗ are often outdated -- the state of Buddhist scholarship has progressed enormous amounts since the publication of Small's ''Buddhism'' ↗ over a century ago, and it is in no way preferable to the modern scholarly compilation of seminar papers you replaced. <span style="background:black; color:white; padding:2px;">wound theology</span><span style="background:black; color:red; padding:2px;">◈</span> 18:24, 14 September 2025 (UTC)
:Hi User:Wound theology, thanks for the feedback. In many of my edits I did specify that I am replacing a non-open access book with open access one, e.g.: 1 ↗, 2 ↗, 3 ↗, 4 ↗, etc. But I didn't do it in all of them. I will make sure to be more clear in the future and always to specify it in the summary if there is a replacement and not just an addition. -Սահակ/Sahak (talk) 18:32, 14 September 2025 (UTC)
::Thanks. For the record, I think that finding OA alternatives is very admirable and you're doing a lot of good work. <span style="background:black; color:white; padding:2px;">wound theology</span><span style="background:black; color:red; padding:2px;">◈</span> 18:49, 14 September 2025 (UTC)
Stop removing dead link
Please read Wikipedia:Link rot ↗. HanTsî (talk) 02:56, 16 September 2025 (UTC)
Please stop removing external links and references from articles
Most of your edits along these lines are not justified by the edit summaries, and are not obviously beneficial changes. Sometimes it might be helpful to remove a link to a resource (e.g. to reduce clutter in an excessive list of links, or because there's a more up to date alternative, or because the resource is excessively biased, etc.), but not being open access or being a wayback archive of a now-dead link are not valid reasons for removal of resources. Overall your editing style in this area is harmful and disruptive. I would recommend you stop making such edits to articles that you aren't otherwise putting more significant effort into. –jacobolus ↗ (t) ↗ 01:16, 25 October 2025 (UTC)

Please stop removing or substituting by removal written sources or references because not available to you
I undid your deletion in South China Sea ↗ covered by your edit summary justification "<i>Further reading: remove non-open access book</i>". Your action is contrary to Wikipedia guidance. Knowledge is not confined to open access articles or reviews and indeed your actions as documented by others in talk above suggest you may not understand all concepts implicate in WP:NPOV ↗. The community fully supports the addition of good open access sources but you should only substitute having ensured the non-open access source presents exactly the same information as in the open access source. This can be the case when a statement is sourced (which should be mentioned in edit summary) but is unlikely to be the case in the <b>Further Reading</b> section of an article that incorporates views that can be controversial. The situation is further complicated by some editors having better access to some non-open access sources than other editors. The article in question has had more active recent editor checks on source verification than many due to relevant controversy and indeed WP:POV ↗ activity.
