Hi LouisAragon, I was initially actually rather glad to have received the DS alert by you, as I associate your name with Louis Aragons foreword to Djamilia ↗ by Chinghiz Aitmatov in which he elevates Djamilia to the most beautiful love story. I always also think of this, when I see your edits on my watchlist. Since years. Paradise Chronicle (talk) 23:34, 16 August 2022 (UTC)

Nastaliq

Hi Louis, in regards to the Nastaliq script. Can I add Nastaliq for works created before the 20th century or should I go with the ones that most Iranians write today? SpinnerLaserzthe2nd (talk) 20:20, 24 August 2022 (UTC)

:{{ping|SpinnerLaserzthe2nd}} Hey. Honestly, "lang-fa" suffices in every circumstance. Nastaliq, to my knowledge, has always been limited to writing Persian poetry. It is one of such calligraphic scripts for Persian; there are others too (such as ''Shekasteh ↗'', ''Thuluth ↗'', and ''Naskh ↗''). Pinging two users ({{ping|HistoryofIran}} {{ping|Rye-96}}) who, to my knowledge, are versed on this subject. - LouisAragon (talk) 22:09, 24 August 2022 (UTC)

::Okay, I just left a comment on your own talk page. There is no point in using Nastaliq on any occasion on Wikipedia, really. Except if Nastaliq itself is being talked about (or maybe, if we are to force it somewhere, when a piece of poem is getting quoted…?). Assuming you need to use Nastaliq for pre-20th century topics would probably give the impression that we are using a different writing system now for Persian, which is of course false.<br>—Rye-96 (talk) 23:01, 24 August 2022 (UTC)

Hi LouisAragon, hope you're doing well. You placed a notice ↗ on an IP talk page, indicating a possibility of Aydın memmedov2000 ↗ sock. I feel like your hunch was correct, see latest diff ↗. Thoughts? ZaniGiovanni (talk) 22:29, 24 August 2022 (UTC)

Polo: Pakistan sub-section

Hi {{ping|LouisAragon}} Thanks for the change you made ↗ to ''my'' change on Polo ↗. I did not originate that material. I toned it downhttps://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Polo&diff=prev&oldid=1124132236 ↗ from the inserting editor's promotional style:
{{bq|{{tq|Polo was invented in ancient Iran ↗, which spanned the modern day regions of Iran, Afghanistan, and Northern Pakistan. The word 'Polo' is derived from the Balti ↗ language's word for a 'ball', ''polo''.}}}} (already present when you were editing the article on 15 Nov ↗}, to the slightly more justifiable: "{{tq|Polo was extensively developed in Ancient Iran ↗, a region which encompasses current Northern Pakistan, as well as modern-day Iran and Afghanistan.}}".

Like you, I think this material is better out than in. It's basically a recap of the main points in the "History" and "Origin" sections.
Problem is though, there's now a non sequitur left stranded, that seems even more like unsourced semi-boasting: "{{tq|The traditional or 'free style' ''Polo'' or ''Pulu'' of Northern Pakistan is '''still played avidly in its native region'''.}}" [my emphasis] This makes no sense without context, as well looking even ''more'' like a sort of "boosterism" on its own.

Excuse me posting here; I don't want to venture into the talk page where there's a massive argument going on: been there, done that; learned my lesson! I'll leave it in your hands for now. Thanks, 175.39.67.82 ↗ (talk) 14:13, 28 November 2022 (UTC)
:{{ip|175.39.67.82}} Thank you for your comment. No worries. You made some good edits to the article I think. The "which spanned the modern day regions of Iran, Afghanistan, and Northern Pakistan" sounded ludicrous to me; not only was it unsourced (amongst others), but ancient Iran, as we know spanned a far wider area than that. Whoever chose to add that stuff clearly did some cherry-picking. As for the "The traditional or 'free style' ''Polo'' or ''Pulu'' of Northern Pakistan is still played avidly in its native region, I will remove that per failed WP:VER ↗ and WP:NPOV ↗. Best, - LouisAragon (talk) 17:51, 29 November 2022 (UTC)

Ishaq al Mawsili

It seems like I made a mistake while reading the article and thought it said "Arab of Persian origin" in the leading paragraph but as I was scrolling through the edit history I realized that it never said that, it said "Arab musician of Persian origin." so no edit in the lead is necessary. However, in the early life section when speaking about Ishaqs father (Ibrahim), he is called an "Arab of Persian origin." I am going to change that to "also a musician of Persian origin." or maybe not include the Persian part since that would be obvious, and it's included in his page. What do you think? If you'd like to see sources regarding their ethnicity refer to the talk page in the article (I also left a message there).MarkParker1221 (talk) 16:44, 21 February 2023 (UTC)

Another Cyber.Eyes.2005 sock detected

I've noticed that you have helped point out and investigate sock alts of blocked user, Cyber.Eyes.2005. I personally have found another user which I tried to add to the investigations page https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Sockpuppet_investigations/Cyber.Eyes.2005 ↗ but couldn't and would like for you to do it.

User Uzek removed the mention of Hinduism from the lead of the Kalash people ↗ page here https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Kalash_people&diff=prev&oldid=1144821588 ↗ and here https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Kalash_people&diff=prev&oldid=1144810119 ↗, something another blocked sock, i.e., User Hassan Janhal had removed here https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Kalash_people&diff=prev&oldid=1130633790 ↗, giving very similar reasons in edit-descriptions, of "per source" and "misinfo".

Also, edit-warring the same thing via IP edits here https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Kalash_people&diff=prev&oldid=1138789428 ↗ and here https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Kalash_people&diff=prev&oldid=1138178263 ↗, a classic of this user, which has been done multiple times in the past.

One more case I'd like to point out is that another previously block sock Indo Heritage made an edit https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Kauravi_dialect&diff=prev&oldid=1145419826 ↗ here in which he removed Delhi ↗ and added Western Uttar Pradesh ↗ in the lead of the Kauravi dialect ↗ page, which the user Uzek reinstated here https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Kauravi_dialect&diff=prev&oldid=1145471226 ↗ and here https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Kauravi_dialect&diff=prev&oldid=1145498043 ↗.

There also seems to be a third sock here, user Sensai7 who also reinstated the above sock edit on the Kauravi dialect ↗ page here https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Kauravi_dialect&diff=prev&oldid=1145498043 ↗.

I'd like to point out two more cases of user Uzek reinstating content that they previously added by another Cyber.Eyes.2005 sock.

User Insha22, another sock of this account who was discussed in June of 2022 on the investigations page here https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Wikipedia:Sockpuppet_investigations/Cyber.Eyes.2005&diff=prev&oldid=1093832423 ↗ and was decided as a sock but not indeffed by the admins because they haven't been active since 2021 https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Wikipedia:Sockpuppet_investigations/Cyber.Eyes.2005&diff=prev&oldid=1093910906 ↗.

One of the first 10 edits of Insha22 was to remove Pakistan and add Afghanistan in the lead of the Bacha Bazi ↗ article: https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Bacha_bazi&diff=prev&oldid=1117358145 ↗ and https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Bacha_bazi&diff=prev&oldid=1035866756 ↗. Without a coincidence, the oldest edits of Uzek also reinstates the same https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Bacha_bazi&diff=prev&oldid=1117358278 ↗ and https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Bacha_bazi&diff=prev&oldid=1035865956 ↗. Similarly, one other vandalism of Insha22 was to remove Ancient India ↗ from the lead of the Gandhara ↗ article and add Pakistan: https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Gandhara&diff=prev&oldid=1037291913 ↗, without a doubt Uzek reinstates the edit: https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Gandhara&diff=prev&oldid=1144048773 ↗. <!-- Template:Unsigned --><small class="autosigned">—&nbsp;Preceding unsigned ↗ comment added by RemovePork (talkcontribs ↗) 18:17, 21 March 2023 (UTC)</small> <!--Autosigned by SineBot-->

Also the anti-India and pro-Pak nationalistic pov edit warring, removing India from articles unnecessarily and adding Pakistan in all the accounts is dubious in all previous blocked socks.

I'd like for you to please bring these accounts and their selective, same removed content, along with the similar edit-description on the discussion page. Request a check-user if possible.

Sincerely,

RemovePork (talk) 15:19, 21 March 2023 (UTC)

::Your edits are a clear reinstatement of your older edits from your previous sock. I absolutely do not care about your inferiority complex due to a lack of an identity. Copy Editing Abdallah Khan Confusion

Hiya,

I have been working on some minor copy editing in Abdallah Khan ↗, as you requested, and the Negarestan Palace mural section refers to subjects attending the Shah and then states that some subject is wielding the royal shield, it is unclear to me which subject is holding the royal shield, and I was hoping you may be able to clarify that for me. The same sentence also ends in "amongst others," and I have no a clue to what that is referring to, and if you could also possibly clarify that for me too it would be ever so helpful. I will probably poke you about other things in the article later that prove confusing for me, and I hope that I prove to be more of a help than a hindrance.

Cheers,

MagentaCat1 (talk) 05:36, 27 March 2023 (UTC)

:{{ping|MagentaCat1}} Hey, first of all, thank you very much for taking the time to copy-edit the article! As for the Negarestan Palace Mural, this is what the cited source states: "''The painting comprises a total of 118 life-size figures; on the end wall was Fatḥ-ʿAlī Shah enthroned and attended by twelve of his sons and six ḡolāms carrying the royal shield, etc., and on the side walls a double row of courtiers above and foreign envoys and guards below.''""
:I believe they mean that those six ''gholams'' carried the royal shield, "amongst other items". Unfortunately, the source does not tell what the names of the individual ''gholams'' were, nor which one of them was carrying what item. Hope this helps. Of course, please don't hesitate to let me know about any further inquiries. - LouisAragon (talk) 16:34, 27 March 2023 (UTC)
::@LouisAragon: Thank you for the very clear and prompt response, I shall proceed to do my best to incorporate this information to my reworking of that sentence.
::Cheers,
::MagentaCat1 (talk) 18:25, 27 March 2023 (UTC)

Removal of GAMAAN claims.

Hello sir, I did not intended my editing to be disruptive. In the case of vague GAMAAN, its claims is contradicted by multiple other reliable and verified sources International Crisis Group ↗, Pew Research Center ↗, CIA World Factbook ↗, Gallup Poll ↗, World Value Survey ↗, which report that the majority of Iran's population is Muslim, with Shia Muslims being the dominant group and Sunni Muslims making up a smaller minority.

There are several reasons why GAMAAN's claim should be disregarded. First, GAMAAN is not a well-known or established source of information, particularly when it comes to issues related to demographics or religion. In contrast, the CIA World Factbook and Pew Research Center are respected and widely cited sources of information on these topics. Second, GAMAAN's claim is not supported by any clear evidence or methodology.

Finally, GAMAAN's claim is not consistent with what we know about Iran's history and culture. Islam has been the dominant religion in Iran for centuries, and Shia Islam has been the dominant branch of Islam in Iran for even longer. Iran's religious and cultural traditions are deeply rooted in Islam, and it's unlikely that such a large percentage of the population would suddenly abandon this religion.

And when you look at their website, its transparent that there are political or ideological motivations behind GAMAAN's claim. In conclusion, the lack of transparency and credibility of GAMAAN's claims, combined with potential biases and inconsistencies with other reliable sources, suggest that it may be part of a disinformation campaign or have other motivations behind its assertion. StarkReport (talk) 13:57, 28 March 2023 (UTC)

:This has been discussed to death on the talk page of Religion in Iran ↗. The GAMAAN survey (which is attributed to the source, and is not regarded as a fact) has many reliable sources (The Conversation, Iran International, Manoto, Kayhan Life, etc). When a story is covered by many reliable sources, then it indeed belongs to Wikipedia. Of equal importance, since there's no legal way to leave Islam in Iran, the census figures are also not a RS in terms of what people actually believe and practice (only how the government identifies people).https://www.reuters.com/article/us-religion-atheists/atheists-face-death-in-13-countries-global-discrimination-study-idUSBRE9B900G20131210 ↗ The challenge about researching a totalitarian state is that it's very difficult to get reliable information about what is going on inside. If their claims were true, we wouldn't be having stuff such as the Mahsa Amini protests ↗ and women protesting mandatory hijab laws as far back as 1979 ↗. - LouisAragon (talk) 17:05, 28 March 2023 (UTC)
::Even reputable sources can make mistakes and have biases, and we must recognize that the aforementioned sources have a track record of skewing against Iran. However, it is essential to note that the protests are not against the religion of Islam, but rather against the violence and brutality that the regime inflicts upon women. This can be seen in other contexts as well. For instance, Pakistan has a 95% Muslim population but if the Pakistani government were to enforce a draconian law on mandatory cover for women, it would likely spark thousands of protests. However, this would not be an indicator that the people protesting are non-Muslims.
::Regarding the previous discussions that have reached an erroneous consensus, GAMAAN so-called survey widely distorts reality. It's like giving too much weight to a fringe notion. Therefore, I urge you to reconsider the content of the poll and base Wikipedia on more reliable sources. StarkReport (talk) 13:53, 29 March 2023 (UTC)
:::Well, one of the reasons behind the protests are due to Islamic values forced upon the people. I suggest you create one final discussion in the talk page of said article and reach a new WP:CON ↗. I'm fine with removal of said source if a new consensus opts against inclusion. - LouisAragon (talk) 17:16, 29 March 2023 (UTC)

About Shah Cheragh attack

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talk:Shah_Cheragh_attack#%22Mass_shooting%22?

The sources mentioned on the talk page all describes them as a '''terror attack''', the '''International''' section is in contradiction with the lead of the article, should the attack be described as a '''terror attack''' in accordance with the UN statements and other states describing it as a terror attack, or should we let "mass shooting"? Should media sources, which are nearly all coming from hostile country to Iran, be kept as a main source to describe it as a "mass shooting" or should we rely on UN and other countries officially describing it as a terror attack? Also i have really no clue how an ISIS attack could be describe as a "mass shooting". <!-- Template:Unsigned --><small class="autosigned">—&nbsp;Preceding unsigned ↗ comment added by Tsunet (talkcontribs ↗) 12:54, 31 March 2023 (UTC)</small> <!--Autosigned by SineBot-->
:* "''Should media sources, which are nearly all coming from hostile country to Iran..."''
:Wikipedia is not ↗ written saying "this source comes from a hostile nation" (WP:SOAPBOX ↗). It is written using reliable sources ↗. Nothing else. Iran (like many other countries) has close to zero freedom of press. See Censorship in Iran ↗. Thus Iranian sources are not reliable for topics related to politics, amongst others. Keep in mind that obviously not every publication from let's say the US or Germany is RS. Otherwise we wouldn't have stuff such as ''The Armenian Massacres in Ottoman Turkey ↗''. But its more of a case-to-case problem over there, rather than systematic and on a massive scale, such as in Iran. Lastly, if you believe you have found non-WP:RS content somewhere, you are free to bring it to WP:RSN ↗. - LouisAragon (talk) 18:09, 31 March 2023 (UTC)
::This isn't the subject, the UN as well as other states condemned it as a terror attack, there is no source on the article describing it as a "mass shooting", it should be changed to "terror attack" and reliable sources (FM statements of non-Iran countries and the United Nations). Other than that I've never heard of ISIS doing "mass shooting", all their attacks are described as a terrorist attack, ISIS is a terrorist group.

Hello

{{ping|LouisAragon}} I apologize for the confusion with my editing on sumka, the reason I made a mistake was because I could not find information that didn’t seem conflicting.

I wanted to ask where I could find some of these sources for sumka, as part of a personal project I’m doing regarding studying fascist movements worldwide. If you have any such sources, please let me know, it’d be greatly appreciated. Thank you. Firekong1 (talk) 19:29, 7 May 2023 (UTC)

@LouisAragonI apologize, I wasn't attempting to start an edit war.

Should we mention the issue of all these unsourced edits on the talk page? If we can't prove it, we might as well remove it. Firekong1 (talk) 21:58, 14 May 2023 (UTC)

Creating new article

Feel free to give input, thoughts, edits, etc. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:Kansas_Bear/Tigranes_Campaigns ↗--Kansas Bear (talk) 03:21, 23 October 2023 (UTC)

Greetings

Apologies for my unsourced editing, I was in no way trying to be disruptive. I am only trying to expand and create categories, but sometimes it’s difficult for me to tell which sources I can use and which I can’t. Should I undo my previous edits I made on previous articles in the meantime?
Firekong1 (talk) 18:42, 24 October 2023 (UTC)
:{{ping|Firekong1}}
:Wikipedia is written using reliable sources ↗. Every edit has to be verifiable and backed up by sources. You ''can't'' merely add such categories if a political party or individual is not "fascist" according to WP:RS. The same applies to all the other categories you attempted to introduce into articles in the past that I or others reverted. We've been through this on several occassions in the past and you know it. I will give you one final chance even though I fear we have already reached the domain of WP:CIR ↗. Next time, I will have to report you to WP:ANI. We can't keep cleaning up the mess you leave behind with all due respect (i.e. a good chunk of your edits are wasting the community's times and are therefore unfortunately detrimental) - LouisAragon (talk) 00:52, 26 October 2023 (UTC)
::Regarding your inquiries, kindly see WP:RS (which I already linked above). It has all the information you require. You can bring particular sources to WP:RSN ↗ if you are unsure about their reliability, but generally speaking, when in (strong) doubt, you should just stay away from them. That's what I do too. Yes, it would be beneficial to the project if you undid any adjustments you felt were done without supporting evidence. Hope this helps. If you have further inquiries, you should visit WP:TEA ↗ (they're really helpful over there). - LouisAragon (talk) 00:52, 26 October 2023 (UTC)
:::Thank you, will do. Firekong1 (talk) 21:14, 26 October 2023 (UTC)
::::Am I allowed to post discussions asking about putting categories before I edit? Firekong1 (talk) 21:17, 26 October 2023 (UTC)
:::::{{ping|Firekong1}} You can start a talk page section if you think there are contentious categories that are relevant to the article. That would be best practise. - LouisAragon (talk) 00:26, 30 October 2023 (UTC)
::::::Of course, thank you for the tip. Firekong1 (talk) 14:07, 30 October 2023 (UTC)

Thank you

For allowing me to explain myself, for giving me another chance, and for linking the pages I made mistakes on. I undid a few of my edits and am currently trying to fix any pages I made mistakes on.

I suppose I fell for it again because I saw pages such as Boko haram categorized as far right without citation, and that made me go down into a bit of a slippery slope. But I will be more vigilant from now on and look for proper sources before editing. However, I’m not too sure which sources would be allowed to use on Wikipedia. Too similar?

Hi. I just looked at Central Asia ↗ revision history, and it seems Special:Contributions/WikiAmerican1 ↗ is just the new account of Special:Contributions/Ricemaster12 ↗. Very similar edits/comments on very same articles/talk pages. It is not a sockpuppetry case because the original account is stale, but it is better to review and verify their edits. --Mann Mann (talk) 07:33, 22 January 2024 (UTC)
:{{ping|Mann Mann}} Yeah, I recall that account. I concur that they exhibit a significant overlap in promoting the same peculiar POV ("South Asianizing" Iran, while integrating Central Asia and Afghanistan with areas to the West and North), in violation of WP:RS ↗, WP:UNDUE ↗ and WP:OR ↗. (amongst others). Overal WP:TENDENTIOUS ↗ at its core. - LouisAragon (talk) 19:49, 22 January 2024 (UTC)
::I reverted their edit.https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Central_Asia&diff=prev&oldid=1197872321 ↗ However, the article seems have some more issues; e.g. citing unreliable sources like thishttps://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Central_Asia&diff=prev&oldid=1197873264 ↗ (which I removed it and tagged the part). --Mann Mann (talk) 06:04, 26 January 2024 (UTC)
::Hi, regarding sockpuppetry, I thought you may both be interested in knowing that they have recently began using their original account again. As you can see here ↗, the account was used to make very minor edits to the addition of their own map concerning the definitions of South Asia (which has repeatedly been reverted ↗ before). Soorana (talk) 08:10, 16 April 2024 (UTC)
:::{{ping|Mann Mann}} {{ping|Soorana}} I made a SPI,https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Sockpuppet_investigations/Ricemaster12 ↗ which should put an end to this charade. Feel free to leave additional commentary. - LouisAragon (talk) 23:24, 4 May 2024 (UTC)

I wanted to let you know the article Cappadocian calendar ↗, which you created some years ago, is a current candidate for the :meta:Translation of the week ↗ project, which means if the proposal succeded the article would be translated into several languages in the span of a week. If you want to check how it's going or vote for it, you can do so at :meta:Translation of the week/Translation candidates#en:Cappadocian calendar ↗. Have a nice day! -- Brunnaiz (talk) 14:46, 28 August 2024 (UTC)

If you are interested in running, please sign up '''here ↗''' by 23:59 UTC on 14 September! Voting will commence on 15 September. Proposed deletion ↗ of :Jacob David ↗

left|link=|alt=Notice|48px| ↗

The article :Jacob David ↗ has been proposed for deletion ↗&#32;because of the following concern:
<blockquote>'''Not enough sources to create notability for subject of the article'''</blockquote>

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons ↗.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{Tlc|proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary ↗ or on the article's talk page ↗.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{Tlc|proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process ↗, but other deletion process ↗es exist. In particular, the speedy deletion ↗ process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion ↗ allows discussion to reach consensus ↗ for deletion.<!-- Template:Proposed deletion notify -->

This is an automated notification. Please refer to the page's history ↗ for further information. DatBot (talk) 00:31, 17 December 2024 (UTC)

help Me with Foreign Visitors Graffiti at Persepolis

Hello. I'm not very proficient in English. I need help from someone who can expand This Article ↗ from the Encyclopaedia Iranica ↗. Would you be so kind as to expand this article? I also need someone who is proficient in Wikidata and can connect it to the corresponding article on the Persian Wikipedia ↗. I also need someone who can utilize galleries from Wikimedia Commons ↗ and include all relevant images in this article. Thank you. Hulu2024 (talk) 23:48, 22 January 2025 (UTC)

Arran and Azerbaijan

I would also like to mention that someone (I don't know who, perhaps a pan-Turkist) has distorted your contributions to the Azerbaijan ↗ article and has minimized the discussion of the name change from Arran to Azerbaijan. I believe this individual was displeased with the historical record in the article indicating that the country was formerly known as Arran. Hulu2024 (talk) 00:01, 23 January 2025 (UTC)

Stalin's letter

I apologize for bothering you again. Would you be able to include an English translation of Stalin's letter ↗ to Bagirov ↗ in the Democratic Republic of Azerbaijan ↗ article? Of course, please rephrase it and use a different typeface. Scans of the letters have also been uploaded to Persian Wikipedia; I'm not sure if they will be useful to you. However, the translated text of Stalin's order to Bagirov (the Prime Minister of the Azerbaijan Soviet Socialist Republic) will surely provoke a strong reaction from pan-Turkists. I would be very grateful for your assistance with this. For more information you can read Abbas milani ↗'s book: The Shah ↗. Hulu2024 (talk) 00:16, 23 January 2025 (UTC)

Proposed deletion ↗ of :Princess Marta of Kakheti ↗

left|link=|alt=Notice|48px| ↗

The article :Princess Marta of Kakheti ↗ has been proposed for deletion ↗&#32;because of the following concern:
<blockquote>'''“Martha” is not mentioned in most genealogies of the Georgian dynasty. When Russian ambassadors visited Georgia between 1600 and 1605, they mentioned that David I of Kakheti had two children: a son named Teimuraz and a daughter named Helen. Martha is also not mentioned from most Georgian sources.
Additionally, Martha’s article mentions only her marriage to Shah Abbas, while her sister Helen—about whom we have much more information—does not even have an article. Even if Martha did exist, I don’t think she warrants a separate article, since the only detail associated with her is her marriage to Shah Abbas. This information could instead be included in the “Family” section of the article on David I of Kakheti.
In the Georgian-language article about David I of Kakheti, the family section is more detailed and includes information about his childrens, yet there is still no mention of Martha.'''</blockquote>

In particular, articles for deletion ↗ allows discussion to reach consensus ↗ for deletion based on established criteria ↗.

If the proposed deletion has already been carried out, you may request undeletion ↗ of the article at any time.<!-- Template:Proposed deletion notify -->
