Pede (r/The_Donald)

Hello, I used reliable sources for the article I created 'Pede (r/The_Donald)' including CNN, VICE, Daily Beast, and an academic paper on Reddit political communities. I would to understand whether the main issue was insufficient coverage of the term itself or the way I phrased/synthesized the information. Thank you! Apallo334 (talk) 06:45, 7 June 2026 (UTC)

:Hi @Apallo334! I tagged the page because there doesn't seem to be ongoing news coverage of the phrase. There can't be a Wikipedia article about every Internet slang term and this one appears to have fizzled out in 2016 after making very few waves. If you can show evidence that the term is still relevant in major news articles then I'd be happy to remove the tag. Alternatively, you can remove the tag after adding that evidence yourself. 49ersBelongInSanFrancisco (talk) 06:17, 8 June 2026 (UTC)

regarding removing edits made to the book nook page

I have to appeal the decision to remove the updates/changes that i made to the book nook entry based on the "appropriateness" of the citation links.

Im not sure how when referring to the statistics/activities of a community, direct links to that community as well as its informatics page are inappropriate citations.

Additionally, there are already approved links from that website in the accepted citations, so this seems like an error to remove the updates which provide up to date and more accurate information.

please reverse the removal Pluck-the-bunny (talk) 03:44, 16 June 2026 (UTC)

:if there is an issue specifically with the 3d print link....then remove that section, but the rest of the content is accurate and belongs in the article to make it as accurate as possible Pluck-the-bunny (talk) 03:49, 16 June 2026 (UTC)
::::Hi @Pluck-the-bunny. There's no formal "appeal" process. You're welcome to retry any edits you think are appropriate. However, I would strongly suggest you read Wikipedia's guide for new editors ↗ before you try again. There were numerous problems with your edits. First, the caption for the photo you uploaded inappropriately credited yourself and contained non-notable information about your role on a different website. That is both non-encyclopedic and self-promotional, and therefore against guidelines. Second, you linked to Reddit as a supposed source. Reddit is not a reliable source ↗ of information for Wikipedia. You can't cite a random Reddit thread as proof on Wikipedia. Third, you linked to a commercial site selling 3D prints, which may or may not be your own. That is also not a reliable source ↗ and is also an inappropriate external link ↗. If you're able to alter those parts of your edits then they will be welcomed. Best of luck. I'll post a beginner guide on your page for you to refer to as well. 49ersBelongInSanFrancisco (talk) 05:44, 16 June 2026 (UTC)

:@Rusalkii Thanks for cleaning it up! I meant to CSD it and must have forgotten. 49ersBelongInSanFrancisco (talk) 07:10, 5 July 2026 (UTC)
::No problem. It was a bit of a stretch for "recently" but I figured you wouldn't be fighting me for it :) <span style="color:#1C7E85"><b>Rusalkii</b></span> (talk) 07:14, 5 July 2026 (UTC)
