Hi ABx11. I've reverted your edit ↗ here. The "citation needed" tag isn't required, as that information is present in the body and is sourced there (see MOS:LEADCITE ↗). I don't see why the "More citations needed" template (the one that applies to the whole article) is needed. All of the information in the article is sourced, and I believe that pretty much all of the reliable sources that discuss Mexitli are present in the article. Regarding the "importance?" tag: Rudolf van Zantwijk is a well-regarded scholar as far as I know, and I think it's alright to present his view that Mexitli was originally distinct from Huītzilōpōchtli and was worshipped before Tenochtitlan's founding. What was the thinking behind the tag? As to the "who?" tags, I used the names of the scholars in the body and excluded them in the lead; you can add them to the lead, if you think that's better. Cheers, Michael Aurel (talk) 13:29, 6 July 2026 (UTC)
:I still think the {{who}} is justified as {{tq|another scholar}} is extremely vague. --<span style="color:rgb(0,50,124)">'''ABx11'''</span> (she/they | formerly TheAuroraBorealis | <span style="color:rgb(0,50,124)">In solidarity</span> ↗) 14:49, 6 July 2026 (UTC)
::Sure. As I said, you can feel free to add their names to the lead as well if you like. – Michael Aurel (talk) 12:17, 7 July 2026 (UTC)

'''Updates for technical contributors'''
- In preparation for Celebrate Women campaign ↗ planned for March 2027, the Wikimedia Foundation’s Content Enablement team ↗ has launched a 22-question survey to better understand technical contributions by women+ (anyone who identifies as a woman) across Wikimedia projects. The survey takes approximately 15–20 minutes to complete and will remain open until 20 July 2026. The questions ↗ are also available on-wiki for review in advance.
- The Score extension ↗ now supports rendering music scores as SVG images in addition to PNG, addressing a long-standing feature request ↗ and resolving historical image quality issues. Both formats are now provided to clients, with PNG in the <bdi lang="zxx" dir="ltr"><code><nowiki>src</nowiki></code></bdi> attribute and SVG in the <bdi lang="zxx" dir="ltr"><code><nowiki>srcset</nowiki></code></bdi> attribute.
- The new Parsoid ↗ parser continues to be deployed to additional wikis ↗, making it easier to introduce new reading and editing features.
