Your revert on 2.0 (song) ↗
Hello. In your revert of my edit last week on 2.0 (song) ↗, you also reverted a perfectly fine update to the Circle Chart peak position ↗ while telling ''me'' to "check the source" and noting the new chart position (31) I '''literally added that you undid'''. Then I see you silently re-updated the chart position yourself mere hours later ↗. How about ''you'' not revert the entire edit in the first place and check what ''you're'' doing before telling me to? As for your made-up "more than one main chart is allowed because the artist is Korean", no such exception exists. There is a rough consensus (see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia_talk:Record_charts/Archive_19#About_Billboard's_Hits_of_the_World_charts ↗) for only using the official chart provider for a country once a song has charted on the main char of that country and leaving out the equivalent ''Billboard'' chart for it. I suggest not making exceptions based on the nationality of the artist in future because nobody else appears to believe this on Wikipedia. Thank you. Skyversay (talk) 03:01, 16 April 2026 (UTC)

25px|alt=Information icon ↗ Hello, I'm Paper9oll, and welcome to Wikipedia ↗. I appreciate your contributions ↗, but in one of your recent edits to :Arirang World Tour ↗, it appears that you added original research ↗, which is against Wikipedia's policies. Original research refers to material—such as facts, allegations, ideas, and personal experiences—for which no reliable, published sources exist; it also encompasses combining published sources ↗ in a way to imply something that none of them explicitly say. Please be prepared to cite a reliable source ↗ for all of your contributions. You can have a look at the tutorial on citing sources ↗. Thank you.<!-- Template:uw-nor1 --> '''<span style="color:#f535aa">—</span> <span style="background:#f535aa;color:#fff;padding:2px;border-radius:5px">Paper9oll</span> <span style="color:#f535aa">(🔔 • 📝 ↗)</span>''' 06:49, 17 April 2026 (UTC)
:Can you explain why it is WP:OR ↗? The source stated explicitly the dates, venue, and number of show information, so just because it doesn't say explicitly "This is Arirang World Tour" doesn't mean it's SYNTH. ALittleButterfly15 (talk) 08:02, 17 April 2026 (UTC)
::@ALittleButterfly15 I was already clear and the policy is clear as well. KOPIS does not explicitly identify the event. When editors are expected to "search it themselves" by selecting the date range or location or other search criteria, then concluding that the returned figures correspond to a particular event, constitutes WP:SYNTH ↗. The same is true of arguments that this was the only event held on those dates, at that venue, or during that period. Unless the source itself explicitly makes that connection, the conclusion rests on editorial inference and therefore amounts to original research. '''<span style="color:#f535aa">—</span> <span style="background:#f535aa;color:#fff;padding:2px;border-radius:5px">Paper9oll</span> <span style="color:#f535aa">(🔔 • 📝 ↗)</span>''' 13:46, 17 April 2026 (UTC)
:::WP:SYNTH ↗ is only used when editors ''imply a new conclusion''. The dates are unmistakable, the venue is exactly clarified (not just in a city, in a district,... the exact stadium / arena), and when all road leads to one event only, that is not editorial synthesis. Unless you can prove the data isn't for that event, please don't use this poor excuse. ALittleButterfly15 (talk) 14:27, 17 April 2026 (UTC)
::::@ALittleButterfly15 No, I won't repeat myself the second time, the policy is already clear. You are arguing around it by treating editorial inference as verification. If the source does not explicitly identify the event, editors cannot supply that conclusion themselves. '''<span style="color:#f535aa">—</span> <span style="background:#f535aa;color:#fff;padding:2px;border-radius:5px">Paper9oll</span> <span style="color:#f535aa">(🔔 • 📝 ↗)</span>''' 14:31, 17 April 2026 (UTC)
:::::I'd give it to you that the grossing data isn't clear, but the attendance data is explicitly identifies by venue and date, thus making it unmistakable and verified. If anything, it is closer to normal numerical summarization ↗ and WP:NOTJUSTANYSYNTH ↗ rather than SYNTH. ALittleButterfly15 (talk) 14:41, 17 April 2026 (UTC)
::::::@ALittleButterfly15 You can cite WP:NOTSYNTH ↗ as you wish, but it remains a {{tq|page [that] provides additional information about concepts}} for the page(s) it supplements i.e. WP:NOR ↗. NOTSYNTH also states that it {{tq|is not one of Wikipedia's policies or guidelines as it has not been thoroughly vetted by the community}}. Nor does WP:NOTSYNTH#SYNTH is not numerical summarization ↗ help you here, because that section is likewise only {{tq|additional information about concepts}} connected to WP:CALC ↗, which is already clear enough. It does not apply, nor does it permit, cases where editors must use venue and date to infer that the data belongs to a particular event. That attribution is still an editorial inference, so the policy point remains unchanged. '''<span style="color:#f535aa">—</span> <span style="background:#f535aa;color:#fff;padding:2px;border-radius:5px">Paper9oll</span> <span style="color:#f535aa">(🔔 • 📝 ↗)</span>''' 14:52, 17 April 2026 (UTC)
:::::::And you failed the fifth pillar ↗ and WP:IAR ↗. But that's unrelated anyways, cause dates and venues (the exact venue, not just the area of the venue, you can double-check here ↗) information can clearly pinpoint which event was reported, therefore using it cannot be seen as SYNTH. Again, you have yet to state the reason why the information is unreliable. ALittleButterfly15 (talk) 15:07, 17 April 2026 (UTC)
::::::::@ALittleButterfly15 Invoking WP:IAR ↗ or the fifth pillar does not override WP:NOR ↗. Neither is it a substitute for WP:CONSENSUS ↗. You made a '''B'''old edit by adding KOPIS, it was '''R'''everted, and the issue has now been '''D'''iscussed. What matters at this point is consensus for inclusion, and you have not shown that such consensus exists. You would be better off finding secondary source(s) that explicitly state those figures than continuing to argue against a policy that has been affirmed through repeated community consensus since Wikipedia's founding. 30px|alt=Stop icon ↗ '''You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war ↗, according to the reverts you've made to :Different World (Alan Walker album) ↗.''' :WP:OR ↗ means adding information that has not been published, while all the reasons for the removal of the singles are just me compiling facts and information ↗, as the tracklist for his previous EPs is available on his discography article ↗. ALittleButterfly15 (talk) 10:56, 2 July 2026 (UTC)
::There are also included in the traacklist for this album making them very much a part of this album as well. Being included in previous EPs doesn't mean they cant be included in future releases; which is something you're saying here...
::There are no sources saying these singles were not part of this album; are they?? <span class="nowrap"><span style="font-family:Comic Sans MS;color:#0078D7;">'''''Vestrian24Bio'''''</span></span> 10:59, 2 July 2026 (UTC)
:::In one of my previous edits I have given an example about ''Blackout ↗'' and "Radar ↗" right? The keyword on the Template:Infobox album#Template:Singles ↗ guideline is that the included singles were released "during the marketing and promotion of the album", while these 3 singles have been appearing on his previous projects. This is also the reason why ''Good Girl Gone Bad: Reloaded ↗'' infobox doesn't include any singles from the original releases. ALittleButterfly15 (talk) 11:06, 2 July 2026 (UTC)
::::"Prior to the album" and "during the marketing and promotion of the album" are not the same thing; most of these singles came out before even the album was conceived...
::::Also, WP:OTHERSTUFFEXISTS ↗... what's the reason to remove them from this article and that's the question. what other articles are doing is irrelevant to that. <span class="nowrap"><span style="font-family:Comic Sans MS;color:#0078D7;">'''''Vestrian24Bio'''''</span></span> 11:10, 2 July 2026 (UTC)
:::::WP:OTHERSTUFFEXISTS ↗ specified "comparing with articles that have been through some kind of quality review such as Featured article, Good article, or have achieved a WikiProject A class rating, makes a much more credible case", and ''Good Girl Gone Bad: Reloaded ↗'' is a Featured article, ''Blackout ↗'' and "Radar ↗" are Good articles. I've made 5 edits on this article, all only removed 3 singles "Faded", "Sing Me to Sleep" and "Alone" as they have been appearing on Walker's previous EPs, I do acknowledge the "All Falls Down", "Darkside" and "Diamond Heart" as pre-release singles. ALittleButterfly15 (talk) 11:17, 2 July 2026 (UTC)
::::::* ''Good Girl Gone Bad: Reloaded ↗'' is a reissue, so it doesn't list singles from the original release; which is different from the situation here.
::::::* "Radar" was released as a single 2 years after the album ''Blackout''; which is also different from the situation here.
::::::If you're going to select random pages with situations entirely different from this; then that's not going to help make your case here.. <span class="nowrap"><span style="font-family:Comic Sans MS;color:#0078D7;">'''''Vestrian24Bio'''''</span></span> 07:20, 3 July 2026 (UTC)
:::::::If you want an exact match: the infobox of ''Map of the Soul: 7 ↗'' (a good article) doesn't include "Boy With Luv ↗" or "Make It Right ↗" because they already appeared on their previous EP. ALittleButterfly15 (talk) 09:47, 3 July 2026 (UTC)
