Hi abu isa u kinda have the wrong idea on the dhawahir tribe page, the tribe is emarati you added oman on it, historically they controlled parts of oman but they arent omani. AlYabhouni (talk) 02:49, 10 April 2026 (UTC)

::The dhawahir werent really omani based on where they originally stayed, sure they controlled al dhahirah parts of buraimi and al ain, at the time where tribes fought for basic things such as water land dates, the dhawahir dominated al ain and it was called ain dhawahir before a tribal conflict with the al nahyan where al nahyan eventually won and renamed ain dhawahir into "al ain" tho the tribe stayed close and loyal with the al nahyan despite this conflict and eventually pledged allegiance to sheikh zayed may allah bless his soul, sure, some tribe members might be in oman, in terms of before 1971 around the late 1800s the tribes interior were keen to assert their independence against oman and al nahyan controlling what was called "ain dhawahir", the tribe did have very good alliances with both sides.
