Python apostrophe

I was wondering why my edit was reverted. Standard Python syntax uses " instead of ' or am I missing something?

: You're missing that Python allows using either.

::Hm i measured it. Sticky headers take just 4.6% of the screen in the popular resolution 1920*1080. 95.4% of the page remains.
::First-time readers and those who occasionally are on the visa requirements articles usually head down to the country they want to visit. A sticky header prevents that they need to scroll up to make sure that the days mean allowed stay and to get the idea that the ticks and crosses mean reciprocity. And wordxxx is! a common synonym for word'variable number' in technical writing. chatGPT about it: 'In mathematics, "xxx" is commonly used to represent an unknown number in algebraic equations. This interpretation is far from my mind, as you can see from the fact that it took me a week to come up with it, but prudish people who are exaggeratedly sensing the devil of carnal lust everywhere may take offense. Would you do me a favor and find a more decent formulation for 'undefined numerical value' that can be used as a suffix to a term? Thank you.
