:Good morning, AlH42. The thing is that we never use sponsored name of the event, other than in the lede and the infobox. We don't say, for example, {{red|the tournament was the 18th and final ranking event of the 2025–‍26 snooker season, following the 2026 Sportsbet.io Tour Championship, and the third and final Triple Crown event of the season, following the 2025 Victorian Plumbing UK Championship and the 2026 Johnstone's Paint Masters}}. And for good reason. The issue has been raised previously, in ITN nominations for instance, with people complaining about WP:SOAP ↗. And no, I don't need to do that, because that's not how Wikipedia works: the fact that I edit an article does not mean that I have to edit others. 1992 World Snooker Championship final



Why are you deleting my correct, in detail, information about the 1992 World Snooker Championship final (which I have on tape), like the vital Hendry brown at 9-14 (essential to make it 10-14 instead of 9-15), and the closeness of the early frames of the final session? You are also leaving some incorrect information in there, as Hendry did not do 3 century breaks in the final 4 frames, which is even shown by the frame scores on the page. &#126;2026-83171-8 ↗ (talk) 16:48, 5 May 2026 (UTC)
