Your Physella acuta ↗ edit

Hi there! I'm the FA nominator for Physella acuta ↗. First of all thank you for taking the time to read through the article. I came to you because I don't 100% agree with your heading changes, to be honest, but we can surely reach a solution talking here :)

'''Taxonomy and nomenclature --> Etymology and taxonomy: '''here I just need a clarification, especially since I'm not a native English speaker. Why do you think etymology is better than nomenclature? I always saw etymology relating more to the origin or words, while nomenclature would be the "naming of things" in science/biology. And why the order change?

'''Ecology and behaviour --> Behaviour and ecology:''' the only reason I'd go against it is because Wikiproject Tree of Life ↗ has an article template ↗ with header suggestions, and the way I had written it complies with that. I don't 100% oppose the change though, because I know the article doesn't follow the template to a T (I found out about the template after the article was basically set, so I only made minor adjustments where possible). But what do you think?

'''Human relevance --> Relationship with humans:''' Can you explain what you didn't like about the previous header? The new one sounds to me like there's an "active" relationship between us and the snail, how it behaves around us. "Human relevance" is more fitting for a discussion of what the existence and current status of the snail represents to us, in my opinion.

Thank you again and have a nice day! <span style="color:#4A5D23;">'''Barbalalaika''' 🐌</span> 08:01, 28 May 2026 (UTC)

:@Barbalalaika, honestly, these mostly just seem to reflect common usage on the site. It's always been a pet peeve of mine that these aren't more standardised. In this specific case, I would note that in the naming and behaviour/ecology sections, you do specifically discuss etymology (or nomenclature) and behaviour before taxonomy and ecology, respectively (so the headings just follow the flow of text). I think etymology is better for describing common names than scientific names (which I think would be assumed to be discussed in a taxonomy section anyway). As for the last one (and these section names always tend to be the most variable), "human relevance" seems slightly belittling, I suppose, as if humans shouldn't care about the snails beyond their "relevance" ("human use(s)" or "interactions with humans" would also be fine). Introduction to contentious topics

{{ivmbox | image = Commons-emblem-notice.svg |imagesize=50px | bg = #E5F8FF | text = You have recently edited a page related to ''' the Arab–Israeli conflict ↗''', a topic designated as '''''contentious ↗'''''.
